There are bluetooth car kits around $50 which plug into your cigarette lighter socket - pair it with your phone and play music/podcasts off the device. But I'm sure you know that.
And there's absolutely nothing wrong with listening to music in the car. I like music, not talk, when I'm driving.
And then Ox and Marco would go to SEN's weekly 20-minute cricket segment with Rodney Hogg, who didn't really watch much cricket or know the names of the touring players.
No, just you.
Tottenham vs Newcastle tonight and then the North London derby midweek (following week). Two losses by Spurs and I think there will be an emergency Whateley episode.
I could be wrong about this, but I get the feel that Schofield works as a "contractor" for service, rather than being employed by X, Y, Z.
He's pretty good on Fox games, lot of people say he's biased towards the Eagles, it's hard for me to be objective about that, certainly no worse than...
I got asked to do the GFK radio ratings survey three times this year!
But based on my geographical location, there was no option/place for me to mark down SEN 1116 (or even SEN WA) as a station I was listening to. It was virtually all local radio stations, a bunch of DAB stations, and a box...
All in all - and without doing any deep analysis of the numbers - I think it's fair to say that SEN was able to grow its audience in 2024, both in absolute numbers and as a share of the listening audience. Not huge improvements, but marginally better numbers on average.
Had a quick look at the...
Fair to assume that there is plenty of ego competing between the two of them. Who gets to call what - the last minute of a thriller Prelim Final, Anzac Day clash etc.
He pretty much loathes a lot of the Victorian media. Thinks they're trying to undermine soccer by highlighting fights, flares, hooligans etc, and overexposing AFL.
That has an element of validity, but he comes across as whinging and with a thin skin. Soon as Pipe or someone else brings in AFL...
Yep, and some of the footy discussion on Longmire was pretty interesting too, notwithstanding that Sam doesn't watch the sport.
There's no shouting as was the case with Don. You can tell Sam has huge respect for Carey's standing in the game.
Hopefully it means less Dick from Muff. Carey...
Haha, Mark from the Limestone Coast calling up and telling Pipe how he should conduct the interview with Jack MacRae. Pipe didn't sound that impressed being told how to run his own show - you can't blame him.
What about Tom Morris bringing up some scuttlebutt about Luke Parker and John Longmire yesterday?
I didn't think it was the right day for it. Cheap journalism.
Where does Pete Lalor fit into this trio? lol
$40 to attend the pub to hear/see Collo and Lemon record their cricket podcast. Is that a bit steep, or am I out of touch?
Let's give him a chance and see how he goes. I never listened to his previous podcast, so don't know how he performed.
Having a co-host again is a good move. And one of the best footballers of all-time, no less. I thought Part 1 today was a good chat.
