I believe it was more about the predictable corporate response from the AFL and our own short memories. It is ridiculous how long this matter has gone on.
I really hope someone attempts to smothers Daicos. Is it too much to hope it would be in the first five minutes of the GF?
Port would be completely remiss if they did not attempt to smother Kelly early.
Who gives a rats arse about a speccy? It's irrelevant. You have to change actions cos you have no point other some nonsense about protecting the game.
He jumped on a bloke and knocked him out. It's not that difficult.
The NRL banned the move. The game survived.
How often have you seen a guy being knocked out from a smother attempt? Cite them so I can mourn the passing of this common occurrence.
If you run directly at someone then jump where do you expect to land? Is it reasonable to think the force of the smothering the ball's energy will stop you dead in your tracks?
Meek was comfortably bigger and better prepared than the Frangas' part-timers. Meek cant control his own body in the ruck contest, he ends up off balance and flails at the footy. No use winning the HO if we don't get an advantage. He was getting big numbers in the WAFL as well. It didn't...
Beautifully!
He uses the jets at every opportunity. His kicking seems calmer and more accurate. His marking in contests is sneaky good. He has been a stay at home HBF. Would love to see him move up to a wing.
He has exquisite foot skills, pretty good hands, is a great size, and is an excellent mover. His brain is a huge problem. He's fine when he gets to the contest. He just does not go hard enough often enough.
But not a huge improvement. A good game from Kosi is better than a good game from Riccardi. Riccardi is the more consistent. Looking at their stats Riccardi is in front as he gets more uncontested possessions, Kosi has him easily covered in contested possessions and takes more contested marks...
A flooded backline and we still could not stop them marking the footy. Our defensive talls were poor. I suspect Serong had something to do with it. He was poor defensively all day.
