80's a better decade than the 90's -shocker

A friend and I started thinking of picking the team of the decade and thought on balance (maybe a bit of nostaligic bias - we are both around the 30 mark) the 80's came out on top. Here were our selections: 90's 1. Gooch (ENG) 2. Taylor* (AUS) 3. Tendulkar (IND) 4. Lara (WI) 5. Waugh...

    Benji Marshall

I haven't seen a whole lot of this Kid but I did catch the Broncos v Tigers game at the weekend. This fella's step was out this world. He just ghosted around the Broncos cover, the guy didn't even get a paw on him. I'd be interested to see how he rated - especially after the encouraging ANZAC...

    Well done England

Seeing as the congratulations for a great, effective and clinical performance is a bit thin on the ground here, I'd like to say a big well done to England. Beating a very fancied French team by 17 points is some achievement given the pre-match pressure. No one likes us, we don't care.

    Rugby League's Lion King

OK Guys, I need a bit of help here. Recently purchased a whole stack of Winfield CUp "Year in Review" Vids from a local sports shop. Stifting through, year by year, I kept noticing a Balmain Prop that had the most outrageous roof I've ever seen. Certainly played in the seasons 1988/1989. He...
