In desperate need of some other opinions. I'm only playing to win a cash league. Sitting comfortably in second, and can't miss the top 4 even if I lose the last three games. Sitting with 7 trades, and still need to upgrade D6 to a premo (currently have 100k in the bank).
I want some trades left...
Trading Atkins for a Mid/Fwd, will then swing forward in a swap with Setterfield to Mid.
Already got Danger and Menegola forward. Do I bit the bullet and go Kelly too, or keep away from reliance on Cats and bring in Dunkley?
Went for it this week to get back to the leaders but not meant to be. If only the Steelers held on would have been right back in it.
Good luck to the top few fighting it out.
Anyone else have 4 games already locked this week?
- NYG v IND
- JAC v MIA
- BAL v LAC
- WAS v TEN
In Mexico, so hoping to get my tips done and dusted early.
Looks like another ND playoff loss on the way, on top of getting further away from CR#1. Need to hope be_like_mike drops the game tomorrow. After the mayhem of today I can only hope.
I'm off to Mexico next week, and just looking ahead at the schedule on the AE website, it has the Week 16 games starting on Tuesday 18 December. Can I confirm this is incorrect and games will be on from 22nd (US time)?
Want to ensure I know when to put tips in whilst I'm away and not get locked...
I need to get Sicily forward - I've had enough of the forward rookies. Who is best to trade Fritsch for - Coffield or Mirra. Worried Mirra won't be in long term?
Anyone able to fill me in:
I'm sick of my rookie forwards, and still have Sam Murray sitting on the bench. I have Sicily in as a back, but no dual position forward to switch him in to the forwards.
Is it possible to trade out a forward for a back and move Sicily in to my forward line all in...
I'll certainly take drop from DZE with the Pats losing and everyone dropping in HS.
I switched a few tips this week to try and pull back some space to the top of the table, but it backfired - they all lost (Saints, Jets, Seahawks).
Not sure what to go for here, Bengals win is probably better for me, but I switched from Cinci to the Steelers after a couple of the other upsets came off earlier in the week - I think the flip will frustrate me more than the better result!
I watched nothing from the day again. I left the country for 2 weeks the next day and watched no news/highlights/anything.
We were horrible, regardless what the unpires did.
I was at the game, and am staggered people in this thread are blaming the umpires. I haven't spoken of the day since, but I will only to say the umpires had nothing to do with us losing.
Chiefs screwed me in HS and Seattle in ND. What a horrible week!
Looking at the week ahead if the Chiefs had got over the line would of been confident of extending a long streak!
So much complaining over what is such a well run comp! And we only put in $40 - spare me.
People quitting because things are changing and no shows being replaced? Damn right replace no shows, and anyone quitting can be black listed! Don't need that crap. People running the show doing an amazing...
A win over PB74. Whilst it might not have been a major line-up for the comp and him, it was for me.
Always use him as my guide stick. He beat me to double crown when I thought I was gonna get it the year before. Always around top 10.
Might not have been high scoring, but a very sweet victory.
