Has anyone seen the Champion Data freako e-letter for this week? It has some stats on the Under-18 championship game and apparently will continue to do so throughout the carnival. Handy!
As far as I'm aware you can still go here and join up for free

I reckon only a small portion of the people that play AFL dream team would get this E-letter. We still have an edge over most people and still have tough decisions to make on who to select eg. rookie mids could be out of Muston, Ebert, S.Selwood, Palmer, Morton and plenty more.
Just ring some bookstores and check with them, I bought mine from a Collins store last week.
If not try the Herald Sun Shop in Southbank or Melbourne Sports Books in the city. I'm sure they'll have it.

So Champion Data got close in the end? I see no other competition that had Bartel winning - and by a fair margin.
Take out the non-midfielders and their list was the best guide.
No-one here has mentioned Michael Walters...clearly the standout of the carnival (alongside Scully).
Walters put in one of the best individual games on the final day with almost 40 disposals and 4 goals against SA. A classy left footed indigenous talent, he's certainly one to watch out for...
Those of you who saw this game - could you believe Taylor Walker wasn't named in the official best players? I thought he was in the best three on the ground with Bird and McGregor.
Also has anyone ever seen Bird play a bad game? I haven't. Whether or not he can play this well at AFL level I...
Quigley - I get what you are saying about Whitecross but his kicking on Saturday was well below par. He turned the ball over numerous times deep in defence which cost his side. It was uncharacteristic of him, and despite this he was still one of the Scorpions best in that game.
Reid was well...
