Cheers mate.
As much as this board can frustrate me at times, it is always good to know that there are others who share the highs and lows that this wonderful football club brings. As much as they hurt me, I can't picture myself following any other side.
Spot on apart from your comment on Eade. He is just being sensible in that he can't publicly say that we need a big forward. Not good for morale if we can't get one and he comes out and makes that statement. Privately, away from the players and media, I'm guessing that he's admitted it quite...
Great post Leon. Sums up it all up. It all hit me today - the pain, anger and despair, but also the pride in how our boys gave their all last night. I love this club more than most people I know can comprehend. I know that one day we will all be rewarded with what we deserve.
I'm a bloke who often reads this forum but rarely posts, and I've got to say that your positivity over the last few weeks has been infectious CTrain. There is nothing wrong with being positive and getting peoples hopes up. I would much rather read that than the majority of stuff on this board...
I'm fully aware that I am leaving myself open to trolls and insensitive w***ers here, but I'll admit it - as a 32 year old, sensible, sane (hopefully), man I shed a few tears this morning. I'm assuming a few others have done the same? Please tell me that I am not the only freak who takes a game...
Re: The dogs game
Mate, you have every right to be angry, disappointed and upset. Your are spot on regarding Aker's poor performance (I think he deserves another year though), the umpires, and a gutsy effort by the Saints. However, I think you are wrong on a few things:
1. If they aren't...
There is some footage of training today and an interview with James Fantasia after the session on the link from the Herald-Sun website below. Not surprisingly, he didn't give much away regarding Murph.

Typical hysteria on here after a loss. Nice to see some positive posts from the likes of Chef and CTrain07.
I still think that there is something different about this years side. Twelve months ago we would have got done by 10 goals in the same situation as yesterday (sub par effort, in a...
Spot on.
I admire his courage and hardness but decision making and execution at AFL level are not good enough and probably never will be. I'll be happy to be proven wrong but can't see it happening.
Agree that there was nothing in either incident. Courageous ball player and would be a disgrace if he is cited.
Having said that, can the mods do something about nuffies like this coming on our board and posting this crap.
FYI SnappyHappy, worry about your own team. If that is the best that...
Great article by Murph in The Age today regarding football and families, and in particular the relationship between fathers and sons. Quite moving actually, especially when he refers to Lawrie Gilbee and he proud he always was after watching Lindsay play.
Love your work Murph.:thumbsu...
Great post X_Box_X :thumbsu:
Johnno has always been a favourite of mine. Class player, courageous, inspirational captain and a Bulldog through and through.
There is a great video on the AFL bigpond website showing some of the many, many highlights he has provided Bulldogs fans over the...
Absolute legend and great to see a positive thread regarding the great man. He's been a favourite of mine since he started.
I agree with your rankings although I'd probably have Charlie Sutton up there just in front of Westy. Hopefully Johnno can emulate Charlie by taking this years side all...
Slaps[
Lake - outstanding. Gave Jack Anthony an absolute towelling
Harbrow - great run out of the backline. When Davis is on fire like that there is not much anyone in the comp can do to stop him
Ward's mark in the last quarter - love this kid, he is as hard as a cat's head
Murph's...
Yeah, we really need a few big blokes of the calibre of Brown, Cloke and Anthony...
I agree with the OP - disappointing to not play at our best in the first 3 quarters and we didn't deserve to win. Credit to Collingwood - they were good and we weren't. I'd much rather win in round 22 than last...
Ridiculous comment. Piss off back to your own board.
I knew the instant that ball went over the line last night that an unintelligent supporter with a very short memory would post some rubbish like this. One of the alltime great Bulldogs. Some of the crap posted on BF about Johnno makes me...

Woeful display by the umps in the first half and although we deserved to be down at half time, they certainly didn't help.
I thought Aker's comments on Triple M regarding the last contest with David Johnson were funny - "I'm not sure which free kick they missed - the first, second, third or...
Good post :thumbsu: I'm a big fan of Harbrow - he loves to take the game on and has a real crack. The defensive side of his game will improve as he gets more games under his belt.
If Hargrave is ready then Callan will probably be the one to go IMO.
I still see these stickers on the back of cars every now and then - the peoples anger over the failed '89 merger will never completely go away. I cannot believe this clown has been admitted into the AFL Hall of Fame. Oakley over Carey? Disgrace.
Preview by Glen Archer on the AFL website. Interesting comments on the Dogs gameplan.
Western Bulldogs v St Kilda
This is the game of the round for me. I'm really keen to see how the Dogs deal with the relentless pressure the Saints will put on them under.
In my last couple of years at...
Re: I picked Carlton, any decent footy follower could see this comming
Agree on all points. I was worried all week too, especially considering the fact that Carlton seem to match up well against us. There is no way that I am writing us off. I'm hoping that we bounce back hard next week - I...

Great post Angry Steve. I also read this board on a regular basis but am not a regular contributor, and I must say that this is one of most intelligent posts that I have seen on this board for a long, long time.
Love your work:thumbsu:
