Pretty sure Thorne has. I think it's a shame for you guys and also the player; one injury and we never got a chance to see what this guy could do in the AFL.

I find it peculiar to have the player who came 6th in assists for the AFL and 5th for club goal kicking as backup to players who aren't proven at AFL level.

Yes it's true. Byrnes did paste Varcoe and showed why he should be in the team, he simply wants to be there more. Byrnes' workrate and tackling is also much more valuable to the team than Varcoes' and he also took some good marks. At 23 he still has plenty of room to improve his game and had...
