    Game Day Round 11, 2021: Suns v Hawks @ SCG 7:40pm

Can anyone confirm our mids and forward coaches have been seen in the same room. The way we cluelessly come to a halt at the wing leads me to believe they’ve never met.

Autopsy Round 5, 2021: Hawthorn defeated by Melbourne

Granted our forward line is uninspiring, but the ball going forward has been awful. No connection with the mids at all.

Game Day Round 5, 2021: Hawthorn v Melbourne MCG 3.20pm Sun 18th April

We have the intent, we have the fitness. We don’t have the skills or the forwards.

Just make sure you have the Service Victoria App on your phone and the QR check-in will be quick.

Would you support the Hawks if...?

Luckily this is just Jeff sprouting off, but I would definitely still follow the club as i wouldn't switch to another team. However, judging by how much my interest declined last year once it was clear i couldn't attend the footy, and they'd be interstate for the season, i think my passion for...

Opinion Jeff Kennett News, Media etc.

Any statement that begins " I'm not racist but..." is invariably followed by a racist statement. Jeff needs to occasionally engage the filter between his brain and mouth that most of us have. How would a kid like CJ view such a statement ?

AFL 2019 Round 10: Richmond v Essendon, 7:25pm AEST MCG

Apparently goals tonight are solid gold, liquid gold or just gold. The imaginative and informed commentary is really adding depth to the telecast.

Autopsy Hawks unplug the Power - Rd 10, 2019

Solid team win in TAS conditions that made attractive footy difficult. Great to see Gunners back up and running. Particularly happy to see TOB looking at home in his current role. Pitto, while I love his willingness to be aggressive in the contest, lacks the hands and mobility atm to be damaging.

    Preview Round 9, 2019: Richmond v Hawthorn, 19 May 2019, 3.20pm @ MCG

I think the lesson from today is that regardless reputation, only players that are 100% right take the field. Smith has been carrying a foot/hand issue for a few weeks and been well below par. We were much better today with 22 fit players running out 4 quarters, than with a few underdone best...

Autopsy Round 8 : Hawks strangle Giants

As I waited for The Giants to run over us, my main thought was how impressive the boys endeavour was today. Win, lose or draw, what I want to see is a team really having a crack. That is what we got today and a good win to go with it.

Tim O'Brien: Corner turned. 2yr extension announced.

As one of the 2 dozen people there today I liked what I saw from Tim. Good leap, agile and spots up well by foot. If he’s only required to take the 3rd tall he may have finally found his spot. With Chip over 30 and Brand yet to be convincing, we are definitely still need of a quality tall defender.

Do we really hate Sydney... Or just Buddy?

Still a fan of the big fella. The Swans lack of success, and losing the GF to us in his first year there, probably contributes significantly to my magnanimous feelings.

    Our Game Is In Trouble

Most of my frustration comes from having 3 central umpires all interpreting the rules differently. One pays 50 for a push to the chest and the other lets things go. Footy should be a relatively simple game with a few basic rules.

    Game Day Round 3 2019: Hawks v Roos, 3:20pm AEST @ MCG

I’m not one for bagging players so I’ll just say that Nash needs more development in the VFL. He looks genuinely lost out there at times today. I hope he makes it but not best 22 atm

    Game Day Round 3 2019: Hawks v Roos, 3:20pm AEST @ MCG

    Turnovers are atrocious.

    Game Day Round 3 2019: Hawks v Roos, 3:20pm AEST @ MCG

No movement when we have the ball. Hit and hope on the rare forward entries. North running rings around us.

    Preview Round 2, 2019: Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs, 31 March 3:20pm AEDT @ MCG

I’ll wait until I see Scully run out before I believe it. Fingers crossed he gets through trouble free before enjoying a long and fruitful career in the Brown and Gold.

    2019 membership updates

Currently at 69,721 as per Jeff’s letter to members today. Well short of the hoped for 85,000. Hopefully there is a large sign up at our home game Sunday week.

    Preview 2018 1st Qualifying Final: Richmond v Hawthorn, 6 September 2018, 7.20pm @ MCG

Not unhappy with Thursday. Worst case scenario we lose and get a 24 hour recovery jump on the next weeks opponent.

Game Day Round 22, 2018: St Kilda v Hawthorn

Well a percentage boost is on the back burner now. Just need the win.

    Game Day Round 3, 2018: Richmond v Hawthorn, 8 April 2018, 1.10pm MCG

He needs to lead. I'm behind the goals and he stands body to body as the ball comes down. Leaping is his strength, not 1 out contests.

    Game Day Round 3, 2018: Richmond v Hawthorn, 8 April 2018, 1.10pm MCG

Get Doc off. I'd rather play with 21.

    Carlton v Collingwood - AFL Rd 3, 2018. 7:50

It's just staggering that a club that has had access to high picks for so long is failing to make any progress. This is not meant to be in any way a smart arse comment, it's just baffling.

    Preview Round 3, 2018: Richmond v Hawthorn, 8 April 2018, 1.10pm @ MCG

Sic got one week for stupidity which is fair enough. As others have stated, TOB doesn't have a place in the backline against Richmond, so would expect 3 changes.

    Preview Round 3, 2018: Richmond v Hawthorn, 8 April 2018, 1.10pm @ MCG

Sic will be missing a game against a forward line he is built for. Love the kid but needs to sort this out.

Autopsy 2018 JLT 1: Bulldogs v Hawks, Saturday March 3 @ Mars Stadium, Ballarat 14:05

Belter of a day, and a very light breeze for North Ballarat, which is normally a wind tunnel.

Sorry Jeff, but we do not want more big games in Tassie

Jeff is a politician at heart. Obviously at 4 Mil per year, plus members, he'd like to see the Tassie deal extended beyond 2021. If he has to piss in a few pockets to do this, so be it.
