Are you using Tapatalk by any chance? Seems to log me out (or appears to) quite regularly, but I’ve found if I ignore it, it turns out I’m still logged in. Weird glitch.

I’d imagine they would be interested to find out what caused someone to stab one their players. With no knowledge of the situation at all, I could imagine a couple of scenarios that would get their interest (gambling/drug related violence, for example).
If it turns out to be simply dickheads...
Agree, but it’s gotta be better than nothing. I actually think they should play music after the goals, but there’s no chance we’d agree on a playlist! [emoji3]

I was the drummer. We played the Eltham Festival a couple of times, but I don’t remember playing at a CD shop...possible that was after I left the band.

Was very surprised, but stoked, to see this one get a guernsey - I played on that one! That album was also finally added to streaming services last weekend:
Uncle Acid are great, loved their first couple of albums, but haven’t heard much of the latest. Hope you enjoy the show!

Thanks for that. Hadn’t heard of that doco, but turns out you can buy/rent it online: http://www.thegalahs.com/
Might be this afternoon’s viewing!

New Sepultura album is out. Pretty darn good, too.
And Mr Bungle played in LA a day or two ago with Dave Lombardo on drums and Scott Ian on guitar. That’s frickin cool.

Also, for anyone who doesn’t mind metal with a sense of humour, check out the new single from The Hell on YouTube - “Doosh”
Play it loud and enjoy!

Anyone interested in the story of Mayhem and the rise of Norwegian Black Metal should check out “Lords of Chaos” starring Rory Culkin. Very dark and at times gory, but a very interesting story and the music scenes were done exceptionally well for a feature film, probably because the director was...
One hell of a good drummer! Rush are not my thing at all, but Peart was such an influential player you couldn’t ignore what he did as I grew up. He was so much more than just a drummer as well.
There’s an amazing documentary on Rush, Beyond the Lighted Stage, which tells his incredible (and...
Took my daughter to see Halestorm last night at The Gov. Those guys were great! Old school musicians playing some of the tightest hard rock you’ll ever hear and with a secret weapon upfront in Lzzy Hale - that girl has an incredible voice! They put on a seriously good rock show complete with...
Mate, I reckon they’re great. Been sending links on Spotify to all my mates all day. Listening to their album again right now!
Re: Stoner: to me, early Queens of the Stone Age and Fu Manchu pretty much define the genre. Check out QOTSA’s first album and I reckon Fu Manchu’s latest ‘Clone of the...
Crock, there’s also Testament on the Download bill. They’re one of the classic thrash bands, from the same vintage as Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth etc. Chuck Billy is a very versatile metal singer as well. Definitely check them out if thrash is at all interesting to you.
Ministry would be...
G’day Crock, Sabbath are still considered the fathers of heavy metal, but I don’t think Zep ever liked or appreciated being linked to metal - I’d got with blues rock for them, personally.
Download has some great bands on the bill, depending on what you’re into. Baroness are a fantastic...
The Interrupters are fantastic! All 3 albums chock full of fun, catchy ska punk (the good kind). All were produced by Tim Armstrong from Rancid, and the Rancid guys pop up on the occasional track here and there as well.
My whole family like that band, which is most unusual.

I scared the crap out of my then 2-year old daughter when Buddy kicked that one as well!
Obviously didn’t scar her though - she’s still got the number 23 on her jumper.
That game in July is probably the worst of all the horrible Footy Park memories. Just awful.

Ah, the Dopers. Comically bad last night against the Dogs. I watched and cheered from the couch, was almost as good as Friday night.
I almost hope they scrape into the finals so we can watch them get pantsed again.
Almost.

The India Red is fantastic! Big and boozy though- you won’t need many after a month on the sidelines. [emoji3]
Last time I was in Melbourne I went to The Incubator in Collingwood, the home of Fixation. It’s a brewery that specialises in IPA’s. Check them out if you get a chance- great beer made...
Good mate! Life’s too busy (like pretty much everyone) but all is well. I’m off to Gippsland for 30 year reunion of a premiership I played in this weekend, which should be fun. Hoping Clarko has some tricks up his sleeve for Chris Fagan this weekend too - 3 in a row is enough for the Lions, I...
The latest Fu Manchu album ‘Clone of the Universe’ is a fantastic piece of stoner sludge, if you like that kinda thing. The last track ‘Il Mostro Atomico’ is probably the only 18 minute song I actually like!
Think it came out late last year. Well worth a listen, especially if you’ve enjoyed...
Oh, and the more mainstream stuff - Red Fang, The Sword, Baroness, Prophets of Rage are all worth a listen if you haven’t checked them out, and Pissed Jeans are a strange, gnarly, Nirvana at their loosest style punk band that I reckon are great. Check out ‘False Jesii Part 2’ or ‘The Bar is...
Hey Brant, I was in a pretty similar place till I got onto Spotify. I found the Discover Weekly playlists they sent me a lifesaver.
There’s some crap that comes your way, but you’ll find some gems along the way as well.
For me, I love stuff like Dropkick Murphy’s and CJ Ramone, neither of...
100% agree. I hate the production and find it damn near impossible to listen to as a result. Digital clipping does not make for a pleasant listening experience.
