could be a very intersting finals series coming up for us all.
Mac =choke choke
diamo = very average of late, losses to epp, mernda
whit =will go out in straight sets, again
mern =which side will turn up, the good the bad or the ugly
I think its hard to go past macleod...
As you would be. In recent years tho mernda has dropped games that they would have thought theyd win comfortably. Last year i think they dropped games to hurstbridge, fitzroy, and maybe smorang or parkside off the top of my head. Whilst at the same time lost close games to lower, whitt and that...
just imagine the dilemma that the nfl would have next year if north yang yean managed to win a couple of finals and play off against a macleod side looking to choke for a 4th consecutive year.
i know its a little early for rumours but ive heard from a few people at different clubs that...
bennett was towled up early by douglas and shelton. The 1st quater by sheltzs was massive, mernda had all the play in the first 10 mins and much of it was because of the push and drive that he creates in the guts.
Ill grant that. With curran alot of the time they tend to go either way, theyl either pay nothing against him, or as soon as he goes into a pack they ping him. As for Macloed saying that they were missing playings, you have to play with the side thats available to you. At this time of year...
in a 1 point win you cant say that clearly the better side won. Full credit to macleod they were up when it counted. Mernda will be a very good side over the next few years and will no doubt come back next year hungry to take the next the next step. They proved today, and a few weeks ago against...
Re: Northern Football League Division 2
got down to watch the mernda parkside game. Pretty average game to watch from both teams perspective. mernda were scrappy and there skills killed them. speaking to some of the boys who seem to think that they have a few injuries to key position...
Re: What is the consensus? with Fitzroy Stars adding to the competition
with fitzroy possible joining the competition are there any worrys about the us againts them mentallity, which unfortunetly some people will have. im not saying that it will even necessarily be on the feild. we saw a few...
Re: Northern Football League Division 2
a large number of the mernda u19s are ready for senoirs. there was about 16 or so of the19s last year that played senoirs. stewart, shelton and eggy all are reasonablly fit but also are probly in that 95-100kg size aswell as round 6 foot. then a...
Re: Northern Football League Division 2
as we stand at the moment theres going tobe an uneven bye round for next season. will finals be determined by a wining % as the19s were this last season.
Re: Northern Football League Division 2
that was just the feel i got from people. doesnt worry me how epping go this year, id just like to see the season get up. whats the general thought on lower plenty, they were quick and moved the ball well last season. waddles going down surely took its...
Re: Northern Football League Division 2
interesting that you say that about there young players, a large number of the mernda u19s side from last year were ex epping players.
Re: Northern Football League Division 2
does any1 actually rate eppings chances? cant see them playing finals myself, not a club i would imagine blokes walking of the street into as it has a bad name among a number of ex players
Re: Northern Football League U19's
nah dont think so champ the social side is the reason he played this season he was always going to rosebud next year 4 a year and will most likely be back at mernda in two years with his premiership team mates. how ever llmoose might drive him away.
i believe that ur number 18 arnt u westy. urself and moosey were mearly receivers in the game. thorney did stand out, and theres no doubt that shelton can play. but the largest amount of drive u had was from o'callaghan.
having had seen shaun o'callaghns 2 finals games, ud have to say that he would be well and truley up there. tough footy wins finals, he was hitting packs and running lines. in saying that, it was pure strength of shelton, stewart, o'callaghan and the little asian bloke that won them the game.
from the way i saw u prance around in ur grannie llmoose, it would be no surprise to me if you didnt hand out a few "spanish back handers" in the showers after ur grannie. im thinking a few of your on ballers that did all the hard stuff and passed to u would have wanted somthing in return.
