In a post about Kemp I think it quite acceptable to talk about Kemp.
I understand he is still finding his identity as a footballer but Kemp is prone to putting his own interests ahead of the team at times.
We understandably lacked defensive leadership last night
The entire backline was poor last night McGovern and Saad aside...and even they had numerous moments.
Young is easy pickings. Was good last week and his direct opponent last night had little influence on the game.
Always a bit of heart in mouth with Young, but he's held two of the best bigs in the comp to not much.
Lynch a non factor last night without the benevolence of the men in turquoise.
Keep at it Youngy.
Agree intensity was conspicuously absent...and we were far too cute at times, but weirdly we stuck tackles as well as I have ever seen. Set the tone early on Dusty, earned ample htb frees, probably should have had another half dozen called but dropping the ball seems to be a-ok now.
The Hewett...
He had to be after his third quarter
The set shot on an angle from 65 out, followed by the attempted speccy at the top of their goalsquare were coach killers. Will learn, but prone to tripping over his ego.
Trayce Jackson Davis ladies and gentleman...
Changed the game on both ends when Bucks were charging in the 3rd. Great ability to finish through pressure, and times his blocks to perfection.
And Moody's box score doesn't jump out, but was giving Lillard fits on defense.
Well coached by Kerr...
Like-
Fogarty's involvement
Boyd's kicking
Football at Princes Park
Don't like-
Composure
Kicking inside 50
Giving up corridor
Loose, indirect handballs
Feeble tackling attempts
Pittonet failure to impact contest
Kemp as above
Inability to defend across half back
Solid win. Amazing that we've been on such a tear, but still only 10th with limited prospects of moving up. West play-in bracket will be wild.
No one below us really motivated to win, so can't see us missing the play in...but at the same time can't see us sniffing a playoff spot. Play in double...
Hopefully Klay's performance is seen as vindication of a bench role...not a reason to immediately slot him back in the starting 5.
I feel for Moody...seems to do everything right, but racking up DNPs.
Fought back bravely to.500...it's now we typically drop the ball.
Also in the play-in. Will be hard to overtake the Lakers who are being kissed on the dick by the free throw fairy.
Kuminga's form looking more like a trend than a blip. Last 10 at 20+ points on great shooting clips and rebounding well. Keep unless bowled over by an offer.
No point shuffling deck chairs before the deadline. This year is shot to shit.
