In a game where a run and gun half back into opposition territory is stifled more and more every year...I would not be giving up any type of 1st rounder for a 178cm backman. He's a good player...but we were criticized for handing over pick 12 for Charlie Cameron a few years back and he's an out...

As a RFA, I'm happy to leave Daniher on the shelf if it means we have to trade for him. Let the AFL compensate them. The Bombers can get ****** and keep him for a second season against his will and see how that plays out for them. Our past couple of top draft picks can still go either way...

Yep, agree. Any one of them would be good though. It'd mean a defensive unit would need to cover 3 talls around 2m tall (all different attributes too), two very speedy smalls who can kick goals, two crafty forward/mids. That's before any resting midfielders and/or ruckman stroll into the F50.

Even with the bye week; I'd be resting a few. It's been a tough couple months and we can't really move from 2nd either way. Hipwood, McCluggage, McInerney and Cameron fall into the VIP section for mine and I'd be happy to play a few kids last round.

Just had a look at his stats...averages 120 marks a year over his career and rarely misses a game. I think we'd be interested if Fagan thinks he can add to our group. And kicks straight, which is always nice.

Probably kicks 40 goals a year for the next 3 years in our system and forces our opposition to have 3 different types of tall defender, let alone our smalls. Is he worth pick 22/23 - yeah probably.
