I'd Say Langford, JOR & TOB especially will be in the running depending on form. I just think playing Howe allows Burgoyne and even Birchall to be released up the ground. I know they don't particularly like Langford's kicking coming out of the defensive 50 which puts Howe ahead IMO.
Round 1 team (Barring injury). Hawthorn will experiment with a shorter line up.
Changes from the GF
Out: Lake, Suckling, Hale, Roughead
In: Cegler, Hartung, Sicily, Howe
B: Dureya – Frawley – Stratton
HB: Burgoyne – Gibson – Birchall
C: Smith – Mitchell – Hill
HF: Breust – Schoenmakers –...
Lads I am really sorry for being away again. I've received some pretty ordinary news with my health so other things have been on my mind. It's probably already been done but I'll have to hang up the coaches boots for at least the time being. Hopefully if things go well at the end of next season...
Confirmed. Lads I am in and out of coverage where I am so I am writing this before I lose it. I will post it if I stay on coverage. That's why I am slow in responding so I apologise in advance.
Ryan Bastinac
Charlie Dixon
Richard Douglas
Taylor Duryea
Dylan Roberton
Christian Salem
Adam Treloar
I match on all the above if its still applicable I couldn't read the dates on my phone so I could be to late.
Thanks lads. I'll have a look at what's happened over the next couple of hours and post my replies. Sorry if I have slowed down the process of the off season or stuffed anyone up with potential trades.
Hi lads I apologise for my non appearance unfortunately I didn't have much say in the matter. That's my fault though so if I have lost players I didn't want to then so be it.
Can Dixon and Brown both go down as Tappers as well as goal kickers.
I apply for Astbury, Dureya, Wood and Scott D Thompson to become stoppers.
I apply for Puopolo and Neade to become goal kickers.
I like your idea loopy cam in terms of nominating players to play KPP roles but it's hard in terms of where you draw the line. Jack Gunston could be a FF and have Dane Rampe playing on him but does anyone consider Rampe a key defender ? I like the idea though so people can't just play a team...
I get what you guys mean and at times through injuries and lack of depth I didn't have key forwards all the time. But this day in age playing a Jake Stringer or Jack Gunston at FF isn't really a stretch where once they would of been pure flankers.
Ruckman & Key forwards are something I will be looking to get in early in the trade period so i can then concentrate on other things. Anyone looking off load a player in these positions or possibly trade a star in a mega trade hit me up.
I don't agree. There is maybe 3 or 4 games that stick in the mind this season. The style of the sport is crap. Multiple numbers around the footy and behind the footy isn't entertaining. Keepings off isn't entertaining. Multiple handballs in a 10 meter radius isn't entertaining. Something needs...
The first half of Richmond vs Fremantle was horrendous. Margins will always happen but I am talking about how the game is played. Rules or interpretations of rules need to be changed.
Does anyone seriously enjoy watching the modern game ? I know everyone talks about letting the game evolve but for how long ? Rules and interpretations have constantly changed through out the years, and change is required to keep the sport relevant and entertaining.
I don't pretend I have the...
I am not saying you would, but it fills an immediate need for both sides. Rich has been terrible, and this trade would be relatively even. Tippett would be of far more value to you right now then Rich.
Tippett for Rich.
Both under performing and fill a desperate need for both sides.
Jetta for Zac Clarke with picks traded to smooth it out.
Clarke could thrive as a number 1 ruckman, and Jetta could add some more line breaking forward half ability on the great expanses of Subi.
