Our recruiters said on sen that he was recruited as a back up if Goldy / Currie went down as a ready replacement but also mindful he had the potential to rest up forward and do well

Pearl drive by JNR. Waited until the time was right and unleashed that sharp sprint of his and did it easy. With a lap to go i though Mah Sish was going to do it easy, no pressure during the run and had it easy out in front. Well done ITMQ a pleasure to watch.

Christen Me is in race 6, the race before the ID. He was impressive from all reports in his trial with ITMQ. Will certainly be looking for the front from 4 and after his front running trial thats where you would like to see him. His currently $2.50. I like the Vic, Restrepo. He will get a...

Gath might be better off holding the running line, 3 back the running line gives plenty of opportunity. If they burn early you would want to be 3 back the running line then 3 back the pegs.

    Inter Dominion 2013

The biggest Australian harness race of the year. I don't like the concept this year but the race is bound to be memorable with the assembled field. The draw has made it very interesting. ITMQ had a trial Tuesday that will have him sharp for Saturday. He hasnt been his best but if driven...

Kyle Hendy of the North Ballarat / Stawell variety? I have seen him play Senior Football for the Stawell Warriors and would suggest there a better options available.....far better options.

Did anyone get to breakfast with the stars? Generally there are some standout sectionals provided from the track work. If anyone has the runners who went round please post.

Past #44: Cruize Garlett - delisted at end of 2012 season after rejecting 1yr contract extension from NM

He must have an offer elsewhere. The offer must trump our year contract. One does not turn there back on job security.

Past #1: Hamish McIntosh - drafted at pick 9 in '02 ND - traded to Geelong for #36 in '12 trade period

We dont need Goddard. While we have sammy wright to play on and beat him this guy is nil to us. Forget 800k a season, i would be outraged if we were to pay him 500k a season for a HBF'er. Midfielders and gun forwards demand this cash he simply does not.

December draw looked impressive to me Saturday, will improve on the run. Wobbled up the straight but fought strongly to hold on. My pick for Caulfield Cup, searching for best odds on offer as I type.

Salopek doesnt deserve the attention or any at all IMO. Why give Salopek a chance when he has had close to 7 years in a proffesional environment and is yet to have any impact on a single AFL game. His body is fully developed and he is yet to show anything. The odds of him turning into an AFL...

    Our ruck situation

Hank would be wasting his own time staying. Surely he would be mindful that his no certainty to play as the No.1 ruckmen even if his body holds up preseason. Trade and allow a draft pick to go towards developing other deficiencies.

Past #19: Sam Wright - "Mr September" - retiring from AFL in Round 20 - thanks Slammin' Sam

Re: 37. Sam Wright Round 6 vs Port Power 17 Disposals 3 Goals Sammy was back to his best Saturday with a possession winning goal scoring game. Sam was very influential with each touch he gained. Although kicking 4 points his goals were classy. Look forward to Sammy backing up his...

Re: 37. Sam Wright Sorry guys a bit behind here. Round 2 vs Collingwood 11 Disposals 0 Goals Had very little impact on this game and was identified by Boomer as one of the players alongside L. Hansen that needs to step up in order for the NMFC to be a success in the future.

Re: 37. Sam Wright Round 1 vs West Coast 20 Disposals 0 Goals Not a bad game from Sammy, was silky at times with his delivery. Had 20 odd disposals. One crucial error which stood out to me was kicking to Zeibell 2 on 1 in the final quarter when we were on a run. Jack is good but not that...

    South australian cup

How is Bold Cruiser $14 in the Horsham Cup on Sunday? The horse is classed C19 M13 against a field with not one runner classed over M5. This horse has ran in Grand Circuit company for some time and faces an average field here. His 20m handicap is bairly a disadvantage considering the...

I doubt Kerryn would burn Standelle trying to hold out Smoken Up, but i hope she does as that would increase the chances of Mister Swinger from the 1-1 to run over the top of them

SOUTH AUSTRALIAN CUP: Top notch field with Smoken Up the quality here, however last start was a let down for mine. His off the second row and could possibly find himself out three wide working to the front if he gets burried away earlier. Quality horse who would suprise many if he finishes...

Bad luck with the draw BLC, the way his ran on in his last couple of races i was hoping to plonk with a decent draw. Mr Feelgood to lead and win. McCarthy to stick it up the stewards after been fined in the Cranbourne cup....what a joke. I cant see Justice getting through to...

    Past #15: Ben Ross - #3 in '06 PSD - delisted at end '11 season - JJL '12 VFL winner - HFC rookie '14

Is Ben Ross's brother elligible to be drafted this year? I remember seeing him on the TAC show with Shifta and he looked an ok prospect, taller version of Ben with better disposal.

The song played 5 minutes prior to the bounce at home games

Does anybody know the song played prior to the bounce at our home games? It is played while footage of the boys doing 1%'ers is shown. The video together with the movie is ideal and would pump the boys up prior to the start of the match.

Good to see plenty of harness talk. With the bigger races approaching hopefully we can maintain 'some serious talk'! I agree with Pecker in the bendigo cup, Mr Feelgood. Looks back to his best with a good win after sprinting over the top of quality field over the 1720 last weekend at melton...

Very passionate call from JJ! Smoken up showed massive ticker though. Broke at the start three wide for two laps (thanks to mark peace not handing up the death seat on cincinatti kid) and still fighting like a bulldog in the straight. I am sam a bit of a let down in the horsham cup...

Good luck CB, Finn Lee would of been a good start to your parlay. In the trot if Speedy Naomi can get away cleanly and trot all the way i think the race is not beyond the Mannings.
