Have heard a rumour that Clinton Brown could be joining OHA....handy on-field....not sure about off-field.
Could be a strong on-ball brigade with Whitelaw (x2), Paine (who is apparently playing some games), Britten & Brown.
Did my eyes deceive me, or did I see that the one and only Heath Sims has been cleared to University?
Is that his 3rd or 4th OSFA club? :D
He'll start to rival Jarrod Bennett shortly....
Apparently Trent Whitelaw has re-signed as coach for another 2 years which is great news for the Ships, and I am pretty sure that will help retain quite a few of what they have and possibly attract a few more.
This weeks games are at Nth Hobart.
On that topic, hopefully the association committee were there on Sat at Richmond watching the last game....the lights at Richmond simply are not good enough for matches. Was an absolute farce. Hopefully there is sufficiently poor feedback from the clubs and...
Are you serious? I don't think it was Jury on the receiving end of the square up? How is king-hitting a bloke (an innocent one at that) justified anytime? I hope Reeve gets charged. Weak as piss.
Well in this particular case it was unprovoked and appeared to be purely out of frustration. Apparently OHA lodged a complaint with the league with witnesses but nothing came of it. Possible legal action could ensue.
Re: Southern FL - 2011
For the uninitiated, Butcherboy was trying to say:
"I thought they would beaten Brighton easily. Changes need to be made to the side. Perhaps they should let Pinner and Blacky takeover the coaching for the next couple of weeks? Alternatively, they should play blokes...
Hate to be cynical, but given you've only just joined to make that post, I am guessing it is you....
Would be unlike a Uni footballer to talk themselves up! :D
Whitelaw in easily. Trent Moore also. Possibly McCallum who is averaging 3 goals per game. If Bowering gets back from overseas, he would also be close. Has kicked 20 from 4 games.
Yes, OHA are that good from what I have seen (mind you, have only seen 3 of the six games). They appear to be very fit and have multiple options. That appears to be the downfall of other clubs - an unhealthy reliance on too few. Richmond are the sleeper.....as usual, they get better as the...
Has OHA entered into an arrangement with Clarence? Just judging from the clearances of Drew Westfield, Stuart Whitelaw, Stewart Beechey, Jesse O'Neal and Rohan Swan....
Anyone have any idea of how the arrangement between DOSA and Nth Hobart will work? What will it mean for the DOSA twos players and fringe ones players? I'd imagine it won't be easy to manage to avoid blokes getting disgruntled about being left out in favour of a player from North Hobart, who...
Just noticed a couple of interesting clearances on the website....
Jack Boon cleared BACK to Hutchins from Clarence....he must have just wanted to get his photo in the paper as a new recruit.
And Leigh Walker - cleared from North Hobart to OHA! If he plays, I'd imagine he would be very, very...
1. Hutchins
2. OHA
3. Richmond
4. St Virgils
5. DOSA
6. University
7. Channel
Channel to win at least a couple of games. DOSA might be the big improver and hard to ignore OHA, but Hutchins likely to be the front runner again....even without the thug J. Boon.
I know they are yet to win a...
