Bumped: If Melksham became the equal of Stanton.

Re: If Melksham became the equal of Stanton. So, late last year more just over 50% of people said they'd be satisfied if Melk became the equal of Stants. I suspect people's opinions will have changed?

    Leroy to announce himself tonight!

Prediction: Got a feeling that Leroy Jetta will announce himself as a real gun tonight. Has had a great 3 weeks, and another similar game against another quality side, would ensure Jetta is credited as a player who has finally arrived. R9 Vs Richmond: 21 disposals, 1 goal 2. R10 Vs Dogs: 25...

    Toast Jetta: Reborn

25 possies, 127 dream team points. 2 weeks in a row he has played 4 consistent quarters, two goals also. i really didn't think this kid would get there, but looking good.

    Trade/Delistings/List Management 2010 Thread

Re: Bombers chasing Dangerfield, Boak, Sidebottom Yeh a nothing story. But if we were to get one of these, we'd have to give up our first pick as well as someone decent or someone with great potential (someone we'd want to keep). We'd have to consider trading say Reimers, Monfries, Jetta...

Was brilliant. He has impressed me this year but tonight I thought was a step above. Was fantastic.

Retired #23: David Myers - Retiring at the end of the season - 20/8

Re: 23. David Myers Worries me still, every time he gets the ball I worry. A couple of terrible kicks, but he got better as the game went on. Would really love to see him become a player.

    Votes vs St Kilda

    5. Fletcher - was rock solid, unbelievable. Really took over and was the dominant back when Hooker went down (Hooker was playing very well and is a huge loss, especially after Pears). 4. Hille - great to see him moving forward and kicking goals, was great. 3. Hocking - easily the best game...

    Adam Mcphee

Why is he a dog? He got offered 3 years, so he took the deal that would look after his family. I and most people would do the same, that is to make decisions that look after you and your family. Loyalty in football is an absolute joke. Players become 'dogs' for leaving when better...

    M.Barlow's AA chances

Michael Barlow's introduction to AFL football has obviously been a great story. Looking through previous threads he is being placed in most people's All Australian sides (based on the games so far). My questions are: - will he be able to sustain his great form for the majority of the year to...

The most disappointing players of 2010 club by club

From Essendon: -Neagle: Losing faith quickly. -Winderlich: Expecting to him to take the next step, but has gone backwards (pretty good sign last wk though). -Prismall -Demspey -Ryder - good last week - Reimers - Davey

Rumour Guess the Gold Coast Signings

Rough stabs, admittedly with no reasoning or knowledge of current contracts. Just for shits n giggles and to give myself some chance of looking like a visionary in future: Adelaide: Porpus, T.Walker BL: Leuenberger, T.Selwood Carlton: Robinson, A.Walker Collingwood: Dick, L.Davis...

Toast Shaun Burgoyne & Aaron Davey

Pretty wrapped that we didn't get either of these two players. While they are both great players, they are both around the age of 27 and would be winding down by the time we hit our peak. We would have most probably had to give up pick 10 (Melksham) and 17 (in which was used to get Williams -...

Don's 2010 Draft Plans in Turmoil

And why does this mean their plans are in turmoil? Just a different location? Who really cares?

Toast Melksham's attack on the ball

How could we have gotten Lucas? Correct me if Im wrong but I thought we had pick 16 meaning if the williams trade didnt happen we couldve looked at Howard, McMillen-Pittard, Menzal, Tapscott, Griffiths, Fye, Bastinac, Stevens, Black. Bastinac would've beem nice, but cannot complain with...

    Davis, Medhurst, Didak, Thomas

This isn't about Essendon. Essendon do not have anywhere near the talent Collingwood has in small/ medium forwards. If Essendon had players with those skill levels in their forward line, then I would expect them to put their heads over the footy when it is their turn. These guys have amazing...

    Davis, Medhurst, Didak, Thomas

Davis = clear september spud. Didak = marshmellow (they could all be here really) Medhurst or Thomas = Diver Can't say I get the horse one...?
  20. cooper6

    Davis, Medhurst, Didak, Thomas

Yes Didak is a freak, and would be a great addition to any side, although is definitely soft. Davis, yeh gun, until any sort of pressure is applied, so na, wouldn't want him at all. Medhurst, was great in 08, ordinary last year, definitely a sook, and Thomas, well, is a ****.
  21. cooper6

    Davis, Medhurst, Didak, Thomas

Have there ever been a more talent group of small forward/mids that are so scared of opposition players before? These four are absolutely piss weak. Im glad Im not a Collingwood supporter, cause these guys would be oh so frustrating to have in your team.

    Mark Williams Pass Mark

I just put $30 on at $31. Surely he is better than $31 to kick the most goals? Yes, he has 0 goals in two matches, but is a proven goal kicker who is due for a good game, and is a big game player. And who is he competing with - Gumby, Ohailpin, Betts, Yarran, Hille, Henderson.... I like him at $31

    Team v Carlton

Annoyed about Myers. How can he be expected to perform in one game, playing in a position which he rarely seems to play at Bendigo? Its crap. He and Howlett should still be in IMO. Tough decisions though. Nice to see Davey out.
  24. cooper6

    Team v Carlton

Probably a good thing Neagle wasn't selected. If he was, he would only have been ommitted again upon Hurley's return, which wouldn't be great for his confidence. Prob better off leaving him in the 2s and make him dominate 2s footy before further consideration.

Traded #32: Travis Colyer - traded to Freo for future 4th rounder

    Houli and wood

I'm a Houli fan, but you GC can have him, so long as Hurley, Pears, Ryder and Dempsey survive the GC/ GWS period, I can cope with any other individual leaving.

    Changes vs Carlton

Out: McVeigh, Davey (omm), Williams (omm), Welsh (omm - won't happen though) In: NLM, Houli, Reimers, Laycock - Really hope they bring NLM straight back in, adds toughness and flexibility. - Laycock to play FF, make Neagle dominate VFL and earn his spot back. Also think we need to see...

I had my doubts early on Hill, but he is a dead set gun. He could easily be better than McLeod. Hill > Rich (both guns)
