He was right. I thought we actually did a really good job of hanging in there for the middle part of the game but at no point did we even look like being able to get the game on our terms. We were outgunned from start to finish.
That's the best I've ever seen any team play against us by a fair...
Yeah Disney SW is so dysfunctional at this point the best thing they can do is sit on their hands.
I'm not a hater at all, but they badly need to reboot the entire division.
To be fair a lot of Crows fans feel hard done by because there have been contentious decisions at the ends of the last couple of games against us that probably impacted their outcomes.
We’ve had some amazing clearly missed calls that have lost us finals in the men’s and the women’s. But like I...
It's Maslow's umpire.
Once people fixate on umpiring conspiracies it rots their brains out and they can't think about the issue rationally anymore.
I don't think the umpiring has even been mentioned anywhere in the media as having any impact on the game whatsoever.
...I’d also like to hereby apologise for our ground staff playing the Port song when you ran on.
But I got to be honest I completely lost my shit when they did. It was the most AFLW thing ever, kinda like the AFL, but still a little rough around the edges. I nearly cried I was laughing so much.
I know it’s probably hard for you guys to keep perspective after a bad loss, but seriously you have a legit fantastic team and Doc is an awesome coach and top-shelf human being.
You ran out of petrol last night, other than that it’s been a toss of the coin between us since the start.
It's...
If anyone from the Lions is reading this:
THERE IS ZERO POINT HAVING A FREAKING REPLAY SCOREBOARD AT THE FREAKING GROUND IF YOU DON’T ACTUALLY SHOW ANY OF THE FREAKING GOAL REPLAYS ON IT!!!!!
Please figure out the timing of your promo stingers so they don’t completely blot out the replay...
Two of the HTB decisions against them were legitimately outrageously bad and it felt like Ruby ran about 40 meters without bouncing the ball.
Biddell stepping over the mark was unusual but it was there she had a brain fade.
May well have been some others but nothing else super stood out to me.
Gotta say, I think the backline looked much better balanced without Lutkins. At the ground it really stands out how strong Koenen and Campbell are, but they need dynamic runners around them.
Thought Hickie did a great job of negating Frederick, jumped over her when she had space and tangled her...
I think Hartill is extremely stiff to miss out, thought she was one of our best in the practice game. We have a lot of experienced medium talls, but I think she offers a real point of difference. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out over the season.
It's a really difficult team to break into but at the same time they need to get as many games as possible into emerging players with real talent (see Dunne last year).
Based on the practice game I'd almost say Sophie Peters has to play, and I think they would be looking at any excuse to play...
Here is an earlier iteration of the North Shore concept.
