Test match cricket is my footy season highlight. However as others have said the NBA is awesome and to an extent the NBL - big basketball fan but big differences in these leagues. Will also be watching the a league a bit more and going to some united games.

Lock is the interesting one for me. Been a fan of his and watched him relatively closely for about 2-3 years now. Unsure as to why he isn't getting picked.. From what I've seen he has clearly been above the quality of the 2's. Previous captain so they must rate him.. Seems to be a bit more to it...

Some of these stories really personify what footy is all about. Seeing your heroes, idolising them, wanting to be the next Gazza/Swallow/Matera. Families getting involved. awesome stuff. I moved from Adelaide to the coast when i was about 13, have always supported Port and always will...

Absolutely brilliant show, one of those shows you kinda go out of your way to make sure you can watch each week. It baffles me why commercial stations play shows like "the enforcers" and "behind the line" when top quality drama shows like this are being made and shown in this country.

Re: Travis Johnstone I never really thought he was your worst player. But i think he had a tendency to stray away from his role a bit and this was probably reflected in his continual playing in the 2's and eventual de-listing.

In regards to Choco. I think his background as a teacher has some bearing on his autocrat nature. Football sides are like business's and sometimes new and untried approaches to get more out of your players can be successful. IMO we have a well balanced list and maybe something like leading teams...

Mate, he also said that he doesn't want to play for a club other than Essendon, and he would only play if the possibility of a flag was evident. Can't see him playing for the Bombers next year - even if Choco is there.

Good Player. Uses the footy well a majority of the time and has good pace. Not sure where he's from or played his junior footy but if he isn't already contracted, his game against Werribee last weekend wouldn't have hurt his chances.
