Review Round 12: Dees v Maggies - the Good, the Bad & the Fugly

Roos has repeatedly praised Wagner's decision making and footskills. I even heard Buckley say the same thing in his presser. What am I missing? I think he has been ok but he like Tmac, frost can be shaky kicks

I really hope he makes it. Hoping it was his first game but early he looked slow. As the game wore on, As everyone slowed down, He looked better. Is that a concern? Don't know but if trenners can come back to his best, he would be only behind viney

Worth persisting with. Gnerally does more good then bad.

Review Round 11: Dees v Hawks & the Hard Rain - the Good, the Bad & the Wet

Atm Petracca is the almost man. He takes a great contested mark and kicks it to disadvantage. Gets into good spots and misses the goal. Hopefully he'll iron those out with more games and he'll be a hell of a player.

Autopsy Round 12: Changes v Collingwood - Viney a sneaky chance

In: Pedersen, Ben ken. Out: omac, harmes. Ben ken is a far superior player then harmes. U can argue harmes and Kent but harmes is a bad kick for goal and doesn't have Kent's speed. Dunn is not the answer so maybe Pedersen? Grimes?

Autopsy Round 11: Changes v Hawthorn - Trengove in!

The opposition has sat on Mitchell hard last 2 weeks to great effect. We won't do it.

    Traded #1 - Jesse Hogan - traded to Freo - #fistedforever

Get some distance in ur kick scrub. Needs to kick it 55 like all the gun forwards
  9. The Professor

Traded #29 Jayden Hunt - joins WCE as a free agent, pick 52 compo

Needs to be a better kick. Runs hard and bombs it to a 30/70 contest. Rarely to advantage. Brad hill worked hard on his kicking so it can be done. I see him playing the same role.

Absolutely. Hawks are just going atm too. Bank it, we will win. We will then Get ahead of ourselves, celebrate all week n lose to the pies

Autopsy Round 10: Changes v Port Adelaide - Oliver and Michie out, Jetta and Tyson back

More reason to play him. Gawn has to find a way to be first ruck, week in week out. Let him work it ouy

Player Watch #5: Christian Petracca – Norm Smith Medallist, 4x All-Australian and 2x Best and Fairest (re-commits to Melbourne)

His decision making has been a bit shaky but if it wasn't, he would be near complete player. He should iron those out. All the tools are there.
  15. The Professor

    Retired Aaron vandenBerg - retired

Harmes is a good mark but AVB is bigger and can take a legit kpp style contested mark. ppl drool about big bodied mids who can push forward ala petracca, brayshaw, Oliver. AVB is every bit part of that group. Obv not in the same class but will be damaging when let loose.
  16. The Professor

    Prediction Garland and Dunn

Tmac plays a lot better with Dunn. Garland gets nervous and you can tell that he is mumbling, don't stuff this up, don't stuff this up. Garland plays with zero confidence and teammates feel it
  17. The Professor

    Player Watch #3 Christian Salem

Talent wise he is up with petracca, Oliver, brayshaw but never gets spoken about in those terms. He needs to get his tank up n get more involved. Good things happen when he's around the ball. Underachieving atm

Review Round 8: Dees v the Scrays: the Good, the Bad & the Fugly

Good. Viney. Never stopped. Bad. Bernards bump. Very careless. Ugly. Cloin garland. Teammates don't trust him to win contests. You can't spread hard knowing u have to do 180 and run the other way.
  19. The Professor

Autopsy Round 9: Changes v Brisbane - Jetta, Salem, Pedo out; ANB, Kent, O McDonald in

Out: Vince, garland, harmes In: Anb, prince, kent
  20. The Professor

Prediction The NAB Challenge thread - Melbourne v St Kilda

I trust him in a 50/50 contest to either win or break even. Provides hardness, pace, pressure and spread. Locked into my rd1 22.

And then trade him for pick 167 ala Cale Morton. And still get posters who will still whinge, Morton for another year > Pick 167. Toump tried hard but his disposals weren't damaging, wasn't quick and wasn't strong. We should've got more for Howe but he packed his bags a while ago and I have...

Will there ever be a rainbow?

Apart from Jesse Hogan who is once a generation player, they all can still go either way like the 2010 class. NJones. 23yo established mid. Scully. Posters were creaming themselves after 39 v doggies. Trengove. Most promising until captaincy/injury. Gysbert. Ball Magnet who should get better...

Jimmy Toumpas - traded to Port Adelaide

pretty much in a nut shell. Doesn't have any hurt factor. When you look at young players, you look for them to be calm and make good decisions under pressure. Execution with simple things. Angus does this with flying colours. Toump fumbles and makes terrible decisions. Even simple things...

    Traded #1 - Jesse Hogan - traded to Freo - #fistedforever

Stringer is just a smaller version of Jesse Hogan. Both very good contested, strong and strut. Jesse does the simple things well and makes good decisions. Same with Angus and Salem. Very excited by these 3. As for Stringer. Could've had them both. Hogan and mini Hogan. Toumpas 4, Stringer 5...

Review R17: Dees v the Aints - the Good, the Bad & the Fugly

yep. Our best way to win is to lure the opposition into a false sense of security and catch teams out. It's like when you give the special kid a head start and then you realise you can't make up the ground. MFC style.

Review R17: Dees v the Aints - the Good, the Bad & the Fugly

Fugly: That was disgusting what MFc put up. Grimes has looked as physically weak since day one. Could not break any tackles. Dom Tyson's game and footskills has dropped off the map. Chris Dawes should be paid as an assistant. Contribute the same. Harry takes on the opposition, gets pressured...
