St Pauls Clayton game today I witness the most lazy, careless non passionate footballer I've seen for a long time..Justin Berry, how you weren't taken off the ground was beyond belief. Richard Houston enjoy next week because it will be your last.
The level of football being served up in this division at present is atrocious. Other then the Dingos and Oakleigh the rest have gone backwards a long way. Maybe Bentleigh are similar to last year.
Positions 2-9 will be tight, any side other then Dingley at the top and east Brighton at the bottom could fill these spots. I see that this will be a good thing, sad thing is the comp will drop in standard considerably.
Don't believe they will be as good as Mordi, they did play in the GF. Previous years Div2 sides who came up would be just making up the numbers, Mordi's list last year was okay, not great. I think the standard of Div1 footy is as bad as it's ever been, the gap between the two divisions has...
The league is a mess!! Dingley are so far ahead of the game, all other clubs are nowhere near it.
Nicholls won't be any better at Bentleigh than he was a Cheltenham, Bentleigh went backwards last year, probably the biggest disappointment from last year. Mordiallic, East Malvern, Clayton &...
All the best to Kenton Hall from St Pauls, from all reports it sounds like an horrific injury that he suffered on the weekend. Been a great servant for St Pauls and the League over a number of years.
Hey Greg, i went and watched St Pauls for the first time this year and though I arrived at an under 19s game. Gilbert, Mercoulia, Harrison, Irish all have knee injuries and have gone for the season and Marasco has retired. Kenny mentioned St Pauls currently have 5 players with ACL injuries.
This...
Seems SFL rep footy has dropped away considerably over the past 15 years.
Anyone go and watch this game?
Anyone have an opinion on the side?
David King?
Getting Cassett back is a sign Gamlin was unable to get anyone else to believe his crap. Get ready Div 2 teams, St Kilda City will joining you in 2017.
His best football is well behind him, had a very ordinary year last year. Good luck to Mulwala dealing with his SH&@ on and off the field. The guy is a strange unit from all reports couldn't care less about his team mates, it's all about him!!
Hey Fumbler
You don't seem to give a lot of support to your old club Chelsea Heights, how do you rate the new coach down there?
He has big shoes to fill, haha...
It's only worth something if the player has taken a sign on fee, otherwise you can wipe your backside over and over with it.
East Malvern, St Pauls and Dingley seem to be busy recruiting in the off season, anyone know how the other clubs are shaping up?
Yes Mr Insider, joke on you.
Just on that list, it was very impressive, a list that had that killer instinct, the will to win and played for each other. Similar sides that have had that over past few years are Clayton, St Pauls and East Brighton. Current sides in Cheltenham and Dingley I believe...
Fair enough, what ever you think...
Give it time, come back to me this time next year and tell me what you think.
Had a gun side at St Pauls, won a couple of flags with a list that had a ton of talent and most coaches could have done exactly the same thing with that list. Chelsea was a disaster...
Nice work Harry! Dingley are better off without Morgan, strange guy from all reports. Found it interesting when Morgan was at this years SFL finals
series strutting around in his Dingley attire...
Overrated player if you ask me!
Coached Chelsea in the Mornighton league. From all reports struggled to implement a game plan that any of the players understood, hence why didn't get the opportunity to coach them in 2015.
