Important that everyone goes with what they think will work the best. Who knows what will happen. I'v got some different players in mine that others wouldnt even look at. I remember last year Pez you were giving a lot of advise to people but not sure how you ended up going??
Only took 1 quarter for Tim Lane to write us off a while back against the doggies! But as long as we have young players coming through who are showing potential (which we do) i dont think the media will go too hard if we are losing. And our experienced players are still up there with the best in...
Good to see people picking sides around who has the bye so you wont cop a donut. I'm not looking too far into that myself as my team will be fairly different when the byes come around. As long as i keep an eye on it when trading player in/out. Good also checking out everyones teams :thumbsu...
Impressed people are getting there teams sorted already! :thumbsu: Me? CBF until it gets a bit closer as supercoach takes up most of my time come pre-season.
Re: GRAND FINAL TICKET INFORMATION, BALLOT AND SALES | Geelong finals ticket information and enquiri
I have entered each year and missed out and only applied for the one ticket  I went in 07 and 08 though and wont be missing this one. will find a way to get a ticket no matter what!
Josh Hunt as always been a tough one for fans. His bad moments seem to out weigh his good. Having said that i think he is an important part of the side. Really liked his game against the Hawks and hoping he continues through the finals. For such a big unit i wish he used his strenghth more, but...
If it was authenticated you would get a bit for them. If i was you id put them in a custom made frame with pics of chapman from the 09 gf on it and it would be worth close to $1k possibly. I'v got selwoods shorts from 09 GF with a big frame with pics etc. cost around $900 i think.
Re: Good VFL players that will be playing in 2012?
I reckon every player on the clubs list has come up on this thread
Good to see optimistic cats fans!
Stand outs for me are Schroder and Motlop.
Milburn could go on next year but not sure it would be the best idea. Played 'OK' footy this year and should retire on a good note IMO. Not sure whether he will play again this finals series to be honest. Personaly i hope he does.
If we won this years flag, it may convince players like Ottens...
i came home strong the last 4 rounds to go from 110th to finish 14th over all. Only regret was worrying about league wins earlier in the season and not going for it. Having said that got pretty lucky with a lot of things during the year! :thumbsu:
Re: Round 23 Scores & In-Game Discussion
Doesn't matter about cox scoring low, everyone has him. And if you dont then your just not any good at this. Finished on 2496. maybe a bit over par by the looks of it. STAY DOWN HEPPELL!
Re: Round 23 Scores & In-Game Discussion
last minute trade of Pav to Rockliff :thumbsu:
Puop on the bench :thumbsd:
on 2051 from 19
Deledio, Bock and Captain Ablett to come
Re: Spud's Round 22 (Semi Finals) Preview + Scores & In-Game Discussion
cheers mate. Iv generally been pretty lucky this year with choosing the right bench players. Cant be afraid to bench a premium if you think a rookie will score higher!
Re: Spud's Round 22 (Semi Finals) Preview + Scores & In-Game Discussion
finished with 2448. pretty happy with it.
last week i played Mzungu and I.smith over N.Roo and Sylvia and got it right.
This week i had Mzungu and Sylvia over Smith and N.Roo :D
sitting 79th atm should go up a little id say
Re: Spud's Round 21 Preview, Scores and In-Game Discussion (R1 SC FINALS)
I have had this argument so many times with people. If you had of chosen Swan instead of Pendles it would have got you an extra 50 points. Not 100.
Pendles C 102 x 2 =204 with Swan 156 total - 360
Swan C 156 x 2 =312 with...
Re: Round 19 - Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion
Even if people are making a team under their misses name, so what? good luck to them. Might do it next year if i can be bothered :D
Moved from 178 to 102 over all. Just a few points out of top 100 :thumbsu:
Re: Round 19 - Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion
sitting on 2391 from 19+C with Pendles Swan and Otten to come.
Predictor says 2694 but hoping for more!
dont have Stevie J or Dal Santo but Cox as captain paid off!
Re: Round 19 - Preview, Scores & In-Game Discussion
1409/10 with cox as C :thumbsu:
if only i had stevie J instead of sylvia! FMSCL
projected score says 2603. Hoping for more and a move into top 100.
I was at the game and Chapman kept getting the ball but he had lots of turnovers which count against him. Personaly i think the SC scoring is generally pretty accurate.
