Those first wins after that long drought of loses thanks to Barassi and players like Paul Kelly. Yep definately feel and remember those days.
.............. Damn I forgot the "pig at full forward" watched that on TV as a very young kid.
For the right reasons
1) Plugger breaks Conventry's goal kicking record
2) Watching Rodney Eade go ballistic with the phone in the coaches box during most games
3) Every single time we would sing 'One Tony Lockett' or screaming out 'ROOOOOOOS' or 'COOOOKIE'
For the wrong reasons
1) 'The match'...
Nothing wrong with the people, the format, the content or personality.
But could you please look at better ways of doing the podcast? The first week had the female guest sounding as though she was being recorded of a mobile phone loud speaker. The second week sounded like it was recorded in...
Proof that you shouldn't believe everything you read on this board. One person says something and then someone else copies it without even verifying.
Go the sheep. BAAA !!!
I thought exactly the same thing. If a player baits him, he gets checked tightly or an umpire decision goes against him he will snap and likely get suspended.
I also worried without the burst after mid way through the 3rd he would not have made 80 points. He is a cashcow but could just as...

You have internet check it yourself :thumbsu:
and don't do drugs they affect your ability to think and type amongst other things :thumbsu:
Guys I just wanted to say that I loved your podcasts. Very refreshing and hillarious especially the Lilly Allen thing you did. I hope you guys get the chance this coming season to make lots more of these.
How can you read anything from what the Swans do during the NAB cup. They play the seniors for the first half then the rookies or seconds for the second half. They also chops and changes positions.............. so how are you going to read anything from that ?
Sorry I don't mean that to sound...
I'm looking at this post http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/88586/default.aspx and wondering if the Swans are planning on changing McGlynn into a back the same way they did with Leaping Leo............... am I reading to much in the allocation of numbers ?
Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone out there factors junk time into their player selection, i.e., do you select one player over another because the team might junk it up at the end of quarter or game ?
Cheers
I was an early trader but not this year.
Last year I lead my league for the whole season and lost only 3 games. My trades were gone from round 12. Lost the final to someone I beat twice throughout the season as they could trade Cox and another injury that I had donuts for :(
Roos has often commented that he will put a player into a different role/position so they can learnt it and become better footballers. They end up moving back at some point or others like Grundy don't end up moving back at all...............that is why I would be careful of picking Vez.
Is he playing in the VFL or did he retire from all forms of footy ?
I was impressed to hear early this year that Greg Matthews at the Age of 48 was playing for Sydney University. LEGEND !
54Dogs just a general question to you and others. With all the talk of rookies would you pick a Tom Scully as a top prospect who may not play until middle of the season (speculating on that one of course) or choose a lower rated rookie who would play round 1 ?
................ just trying to...
Very good points. Definitely a reason to be careful with either selecting him or thinking that he may have a long term spot in the team. It would only take 1 bad game.

@Walesy
You can read into this what you want but the Dockers delisted Gilmore.
