Well done Freo. Not too many teams run over the top of Geelong. Great game after all the rubbish I have watched in the other games this round.
Definitely the most improved team for season 2010.
Re: Saints lodge complaint with MRP
Can't believe this is being talked about as a major incident. Really surprises me that the Saints would lodge a complaint.
It is a bit of passion and heat of battle stuff which was interesting viewing in an otherwise boring game.
I still have 20 trades. J. Brown would be the obvious choice for me, but don't like the idea of paying a premium price for him. I think he will get average scores eventually.
What about J. Brennan? Listed as forward, but playing midfield and getting a heap of it. His out suspended this week...
Suprised Scarlo got a week. I think the fact that Osborne went down hurt and had to come off might have been what hurt Scarlo in the end. I would just take the week, most likely wouldn't have travelled anyway.
Moons is a marked man, does anyone honestly think he will get off if we decide to...
Re: SC Trading Thread - 2010
The only trade I'm looking at possibly doing is Andrew Walker (5th Midfielder) for a rookie. Problem is I really don't know which rookie. I already have Barlow, Martin, and JKT. Bastinac and Shuey may be worth considering, but no one really stands out. May not trade...
Yeah Fletch struggled but I thought Ryder was really disappointing. Just didn't fire a shot.
Bit to like about the Bombers though. Obviously this will be another developing year, but I thought Hooker showed a bit tonight, Pears will be a player for sure. Just need to find some key forwards...
Love Sel, but Ablett is the bigger loss IMO. Sel is as tough as anyone can get, but he doesn't have the skill and talent that Ablett has with the ball. Just can't see Selwood ever getting to that level and he will never have the ability to go forward with the same effect as Ablett. I can see...
Re: Rate My SuperCoach Team IV
Yeah pretty good team. Think Ball is better suited to DT, but could still average 90 in SC. Had Carrazzo at one stage but took him out. Will be interested to see how he goes, I think he will go alright.
Re: Rate My SuperCoach Team IV
A lot of mid range players that won't score that well IMO. Blokes like S. Thompson, H Taylor, Bolton, Pears. Roughead too up and down for mine. Need to work on your bench as well, I have never heard of half of those players on your pine
My backs are
Goddard, Enright, Hodge, Kennelly, Malceski, Ladson, Waters (Nason, Silvagni).
The backs are definiely the most vulnerable position in my team. So many injury prone players, bit of a worry but I'm basically just hoping for the best.
Re: Rate My SuperCoach Team IV
Yeah I considered not starting with a rookie in the forward line, but just couldn't manage it. Could be a good strategy. Strong forward line, I like Ziebell, but just not sure he will average more than 70, he has only played 10 games. 320K isn't a cheap price...
Re: Rate My SuperCoach Team IV
Not sure if you have any cash, but I would swap L Brown for Kennelly if possible, if not Hunt is a better option for 40K less. Not sure if Sheppard will play Rd 1 so Waters might be a better bet.
Dalziell is an interesting one, just not sure. Like the Cotchin...
