Trouble is that Laird has a crap kick. Under pressure it is even worse. Bring in Grigg. At least when he gets the ball he can hit a target. If you are that small you need to have an elite kick and he is not even close to reasonable. Don't think his courage makes up for his deficiencies.

I think it is alot easier being a backman in terrible conditions than a forward. Maybe he can come out when its dry and sunny.

Lairds man gets 31 disposals and 3 tackles and Laird gets 12 Disposals and 1 tackle. Add to that Laird can't kick a drop punt. If Jaensch, Reilly or Martin got those stats they would be shot on this site.

Went and saw the Crows reserves play last night against West and was very disappointed. I don't know if CEY had a bad night but he is not that good. He is not quick and his disposal is average at best. Lyons and Knight have something to offer and Spina can play. Battersby also looked a long way...

Laird gives his all but his disposal is crap. Add him to the list of backmen that cannot kick. He kicks it 20m sideways or a 40m bomb to no one.

You should be concerned with winning this week before you need to worry about how good you will be next week.

At one stage in the first quarter the hitouts were 13 to 1. Webb went forward in the last quarter and spent some time on the bench when the game was lost. As for Baulderstones skills, I dont think we saw too many on the weekend.

Baulderstone got spanked on the weekend by Westies Daniel Webb. Baulderstone is slow and has average skills at best.

Craig Parry is the best SANFL ruckman but he is 29 and about to retire before he belts someone else.

Angus Graham has proved that being tall doesn't make you a ruckman.

Nelson is behind Webb at West and on a par with Moran so it's a bit of a stretch to say he is the best ruck prospect in the SANFL. I would think there would be a least 10 better ruck prospects.
