Hearing some good rumours in the smca about the possible returns of players and changing of clubs for players. burgiel and pom from sale to bundy, dowsett to wurruk, sale or maffra, jack tatterson and mick roberts back to stratford. heard sale having been approaching a few players like mike...
From what I was told on saturday night heyfield played with seventeen players for thirty minutes after phil harris and a bloke from morwell got sent off. they weren't too concerned with the loss, heyfield were missing up to seven players who would walk into that side, the president told me...
Are you serious mate???
In our whole conversation he never mentioned he had ross river!!!! You are quite obviously Mark Trethowan. Why would you mention that otherwise??
Mark looking over your year, you had a bad year everyone does and yes illness is a legitimate excuse, don't get so caught...
You would be surprised John very surprised...I was not having a go at your post I was having a go at Lynchy4610. saying the league is stale and he doesn't have any connection to it.
His very short sighted view that the league is to blame for the demise of Heyfield is exteremely ridiculous...
Its not the assosiciations fault if teams are poor. the clubs are the only ones to blame not the league.
Name ten A grade standard cricketers who are not playing due to the format of two day cricket???
Re: West Gippy Latrobe (Part 2)
Generally mate (stinger) when you say the playing surface to the outer indicates from the middle of the ground to the boundary line...
Thanks for clearing that up return of the pies, you wrote the right explanation of what was trying to be said.
Returning...
Re: West Gippy Latrobe (Part 2)
What???
Are you ******ed!!!
What sort of ground is uphill from the boundary??? Most grounds run from the centre outwards which is what i said.
I hope that is what you are implying.
Well nugget, your post's seems silly now. Knight is in the seconds and you have got a game.
Lets hope you get some runs so we don't have to read through the piles of posts you write. Haha
I would like to point out that when Stratford started in A grade, they were hopeless I played against...
I saw Neil Tatterson played for Stratford on the weekend and made 28. How old is he now??? 45...not really sure if this is the way forward for any club.
Walked past SMCA v LDCA yesterday. Parry??? looked a classy player and was batting with Stuart Anderson. Impressed by both of them, Stuart...
Exactly.
I am just going on the fact that Stratford have played Boisdale, Wurruk and Bundy. If points were given to Boisdale (in a worst case scenario) then Boisdale sit one game out of the four.
Boisdale play wurruk then your team Sale, if Stratford were to beat Sale and Boisdale to...
Have been told that the Pom that went to Stratford, was cleared but not listed as a professional player and that wurruk wrote a letter in about it complaining.
Also another player from lakes entrance???? played twos for stratford without a clearance, not sure who this is.
Same thing...
Have been told that a few SMCA clubs are in strife over professional players, and that fines, loss of points have been threatened/actioned. Pretty significant, if this happens will re shape the year I believe.
Sitting on the bench for three quarters doesn't count as a full game.:D
Seriously.
I think hawk sale is referring to the fact that maffra seem to take the good players, thats fine, I have no problems with that. The best players should play in the best standard of football.
But they don't...
That post makes no sense at all, why would Hawk Sale be unhappy if Sale win....its not like the blokes they replace are any good. They finished second last, last year.
They are not replacing a Russel Mcadam, Kane Fraser or Rodney Love they are replacing the 19th, 20th or 21st player. If the...
Some pretty stupid stuff said there warrior.
The situation was; ball called no ball, batsmen not out, umpire says sorry legal delivery batsmen out. Surely there is some doubt there.
We are all humans and I am sure you have made a mistake warrior, we cannot expect umpires to be fool proof...
Yeah what is the go here any one shed some light??? Is a terrific concept in my opinion and provides younger players with neccesary experience at country week.
I know Jim Cox used to attend trainings and umpire in the nets. Not sure about the others.
I have been thinking about the "no ball" and why didn't the umpire just call it a dead ball, if he thought it was going to be a no ball called it and then realised it wasn't. The ball can be deemed dead...
Why???
Seriously what are you doing??
You're not contributing anything to these forums by bagging/baiting people!!
Back to SMCA...tips in bold.
R/K v Bundalaguah outright
Maffra v College
Sale v Wurruk outright
B/B v Stratford
Mayhem, your being very negative!! Your only one innings away from being in from again!! My point is that if you leave mid season you never never give your self a chance at being a success!! Because you have never known what would have happened!!
In your leaving stratford post mayhem, from afar there seems to be alot of reasons that benefit you. Stratford aren't gaining any benefit from your loss. If your form was a worry you would play seconds until the end of the year, then put a clearance in?? This way a better seperation would occur...
I don't know if i am slow on the uptake but i might take a guess and say John Mayman is playing at Sale. Judging by that post and the fact he didn't bat for stratford on weekend, well according to the local paper.
Is this correct???
Whats going on at Stratford??
john mayman leaves mid...
