I wouldnt rule them out, just my observations and reading of summaries from guys in the west who see alot of Allan, he may develop with time and AFL exposure. Problem with Hotton is his limited visibility this year due to ACL,. however its clear that he has a high ball drop and loopy kick...

Hynes at 13 is way to early, I reckon he goes in the 20s, happy to pick him up, but not with 13.

The split maybe the way to go, just cant seem to find a clear winner at 13.

Allan is more athlete then pure footballer, still alot of undecided punters about his real endstate as a AFL footballer. Also revisited lots of footage on hotton and have come to firm conclusion that hes a very poor kick. Moves like a cat but his finishing by foot is poor, doubts on some of...

biggest x factor is Hotton probably, if it wasn't for the acl and subsequent op, then it would be easier decision. Suppose recruiters see the doctors reports and know the risks.

Not seeing it, only criticism and area for dev is the inside stuff, more outside type at this stage. Lifted this which gives good appraisal. STRENGTHS: Ball use Consistency Inside-outside balance Kick penetration Versatility Work rate IMPROVEMENTS: Endurance Inside craft Lindsay is a...

Was wondering if I was missing something, with the pile on, cant find too many flaws in his game and his junior resume is outstanding.

Koch is as tight as they come, he's not going to pay out a coach early and is happy to go with a budget group of assistants.

He would be a good late pickup, at 188cm , good efficiency by foot, good runner, but probably wont have a list spot available?

Lindsays much more then just a half back, can play wing and will end up as a mid, the guys quality, however I hope there's no sulking from anyone in the future, if we gamble on Hotton coming of a acl and just having had more surgery on same knee. Punt 13 on that, high risk high reward I suppose.

His cv over many years is outstanding as a junior, couldn't have done too much more, Morrish medal winner, multiple All Australians at u16s u18s, couple of bogs for vic in u18s series. Pretty harsh criticism, but we all see things differently.

Hotton has just gone in for minor surgery on the knee he did. Dont think we can afford to gamble with our first pick on this guy, he may have the best potential but I think we need to be more conservative. X Lindsay if available seems the lowest risk , may not have x factor , but just has...

Not getting the Lindsay criticisms, if there at 13 Id have no issues picking him, pretty safe bet at that point, be surprised if he slips to 13.

Interesting development in the argument for protective headwear and concussion. Perhaps the long established argument that they make no difference is less clear. "NFL executive vice president Jeff Miller said that Guardian Caps have contributed to a nearly 50% reduction in concussions for the...

Pretty good breakdown, hopefully a Hannaford / Davis type gives that explosive smaller mid forward type that we really need. A Lohmann type is a big gap in the list.

Disagree strongly, kid has x factor, unfortunately injury ridden. Would of loved to see him get a chance.

    Quinton Narkle

Narkle bit unlucky if delisted, was handy late, but probably doesnt have a clearlly defined role in the 22.

Just wondering if Marshalls only hope of survival is to play him behind the ball. Has the skill to play hbf/wing with drifting forward. Less likely to cop head knocks.

The quality past 6 or 7 is such that there is a number of players I'd be happy with between 13 and 29. Most of the elite mid's, will be gone by 13 I'd expect , but there a a number of tall's and smaller mid forwards to pick from. The more I watch videos the more confused I get as to who we...
