Carisbrook had a good hit out last night against Learmonth.
Very competitive match, with learmonth probably 2 months advanced in training and structures. winning by 2 goals.
good signs for carisbrook with some new recruits, great passages of play.
will have another hit out next week against the...
So what's everyone's predictions??
New to this league and very excited for the upcoming year!!
Can the grass hoppers be beaten?!
Will Lexton choke as per usual :-(
I'm on the red backs
Back to Back to Back!!!
Time will tell hey.
I guess we all just hope it's a little more competitive than it has been the last couple of years.
The Darwin guys aren't always as good as people think. There style of footy up there is completely different. Very fast paced!! Would be suited more...
Carisbrook to name its new coach shortly!!!
A 4 time premiership coach to take the helm. and bring a swag of premiership players with him to fill an all ready potent team.
Older and bigger bodies... Look out MCDFL
SKIPTON to announce Matthew Rae as there new Senior playing coach for 2012!!
Good luck to him!
T McKay to stay around and help with the coaching.
Probably a few handy pickups coming along to.
K Molloy should also be back next year after having the whole 2011 season off from a footy trip accident.
Sebas Having a mass clearout???
at least there top 10 Senior players going to find a club where they can have a win!
J. Carrol and Kurt to Buninyoung.
C. Wills to Learmonth
and talk of couple going out to Skipton!
Re: MCDFL - Part 3
Hi all,
Just finished reading about the mcdfl league, sounds very promising and exciting next year. As a former lpfl player and not to shore weather to saty at skipton where i have been lucky enough to play in the last couple of wining GF.
What would be good club to go to...
G'day all, as a player from skipton.
Skipton will not be going back to the old swans jumper!
Not shore what we will be wearing next year, will post as soon as i hear anything.
Skipton back2back?
or the Lexton Tigers?
As a skipton man myself, i think we can beat the tigers, different team then the last game, im first to admit we went in way to tall.
we were slow, second to the footy and once again discipline got the better of us.
I believe we would have stolen the...
6 Senior players out for skipton on Saturday. G Lench, J Risk, K molloy, C Browne, D George, A Slater. plust N Whatson playing his first game back in the 2's.
Good wake up call for the boys, but you can not seriously take anything out of that game. Lexton at full Strenght, Skipton at 60%...
Big Practice match on the weekend. Skipton VS Dunstown....
Skipton Reserves won by atleast 15 Goals.
Skipton Seniours by 12 Goals.
Good signs for both sides, seniours still have 6-7 seniour players still to come back.
Can anyone beat the emus this year????
Again harsh on T Mack, age is not on his side anymore.
Also done his knee which he played on for the last part of the year.
Wooden Spoon= Natty
League Medal, G Lench...If he keeps his mouth shut.
Big Improver, i agree Lexton.
Slider, Hopefully the Saints but i doubt it.
Goal Kicker= J.Risk will...
:thumbsu:Can anyone seriously see any team getting near Skipton this year.....?
Will be beter than last year, only lacking smalls.
but overall knowone will get within 5 goals of the emus.....
Thoughts anyone...:D
Must Say Kernal was a very good option up forward!, not a fan of TMG.
when we played him last year the only goals he got where from free kicks. Browney Killed him.
OK Best HBF and why:
G.LENCH Complete package! need i say anymore, could have won league B&F if not for his mouth!
PPL Who will be the best big forward this year, and why?
For me it's Joel Risk, its his second year of seniour footy. has put on a bit of bulk and will be unstopable this year.
Lads i've just moved to castlemaine, im trying to find a club. I played with Skipton last year in the premiership side.
Would love to stay but the travel is to far, can anyone help?
Karl Begbie has gone to Ballan from Rokewood, former LPFL B&F winner. Good pick up.
Someone by the name of Edwards from Newlyn has apparently gone to Rokewood? can anyone confirm this, what's he like???
I believe Rod is about 35ish, T MAK not shore depends how his knee holds up. Still think his presence on the feild give most other teams a headache.
The Kernal and Risk with Tim make an awesome forward line.
Also skiptons B&F Graeme Lench again going around next year, Who will stop them?
