Agreed. Everyone seems to be getting carried away with Walker because he's kicked at 75% and the last two weeks have been decent bags. There have been better forwards this year who would be comfortably ahead of him at the moment.
Doesn't impact the game? Yeah well I suppose 17 clearances isn't really having an impact on the game. Neither is 2 goals or 5 tackles. Most clearances by a player in a quarter since stats have been recorded. Hopefully he'll start having an impact soon though.
Right. Swallow turned 24 just a few days ago. He has a sh*tload of time left in the game, and is quickly becoming one of the better mids in the game. Libba and Wallis have reasonable pedigree and are first rounders, but I doubt many would think twice about letting either go if it meant securing...
Maybe in some media circles, but the Melbourne games I've seen commentators are claiming he is bullied and constantly make excuses for him showing 4/5 of f*ckall thus far. It's not the bloke himself, I have a certain sympathy for him in fact, as he seems to wander around looking utterly bemused...
Lindsay Thomas - FFS, I can't even stand him.
Brent Harvey - I like him obviously, but can see why opposition fans don't.
Stephen Milne - Annoying front-runner.
Alan Didak - Arrogant smartass (watching him struggle this year is beyond satsifying).
Eddie Betts - As aforementioned; front-running...
D Thomas is worlds above L Thomas. L Thomas is costing us plenty up forward atm, D Thomas is consistently creating positive play for one of the best sides in the competition. No comparison.
Haha yes, correct! Selwood is ONLY an AFL standard player, and one in the highest echelon at that, because of the umpires. He has no attributes of his own that make him an elite player.
Didn't read the bulk of the thread before posting, but I'm assuming I'm not the only one calling for Thomas to be dropped. Which makes sense, he has been sh*thouse.
Too easy on some. Thomas for example, has been woeful. Showed an ounce of heart in one game in which we had 75 inside 50s against very ordinary opposition. Other than that has played solely for frees or easy kicks, and even then has missed FAR too many opportunities to score. What is his...

Most frustrating player on our list. Never rated him very highly, but at least when he snagged a couple of easy goals a week it was bearable. It wasn't simply that he missed the opportunities that came to him, he doesn't chase, tackle, push hard to contests, get front and centre, put his body on...
Certainly will hold his own. And humble is an accurate description, quiet and unassuming sort of. Will make his presence felt on the field though no doubt. Good pick up for Dim.
If you've ever watched a North V Hawthorn encounter, you would have seen what he is capable of. He tears shreds off Hawthorn nearly every time. Any impartial Hawthorn fan would admit that.
Bradman averaged 99.94. The most obvious statistic for his dominance as a cricketer. The next highest is current England batsman Jonathon Trott, on 64. Which will no doubt drop as he has only produced bat in 29 innings. There is no way known that Matthews is that far ahead in AFL of any chosen...
The game's Bradman? That's basically saying he is so far ahead of the pack it's laughable. If you're opinion is that Matthews is the best player ever, that's fine, but that he is the best ever as obviously as Bradman is regarding cricket? Ridiculous.
