There should be a preferential voting system introduced so that McAlmanac's (sorry mate, but you're out of the race) votes get distributed to either of the other 2 contestants so that the most preferred delegate gets elected.

ok, maybe rookies who have not been elevated to the senior list at some point are eligible. otherwise j.clayton and firrito from port melbourne would have been walk up starters in that side.

i would love to see north draft him with a 3rd or 4th round pick, but i wouldnt go any higher then that. my worry is some other team may draft him b4 we can get to him, will take some work and persistence, but i believe he has what it takes to eventually succeed at the top level. gun.

yeah i gotta few thoughts...he is crap and shouldnt even be in the port reserves side. will never play afl, doesnt have anything going for him, no pace, no skills, nothing.

it doesn't matter, players on club lists (ie senior or rookie) dont qualify for this team, otherwise j.clayton would have been a walk-in for that side. good to see de luca and davey there from port, very likely to be drafted (hopefully by us)

interesting from a port melbourne point of view that dylan smith did not get an invite but daniel harris did. harro would have only played 5-6 games for port this year (prob got 3 votes each time though). dylan smith and adrian de luca could feel hard done by to not even get an invite.

it was a real possibility before the vfl screwed port melbourne making them travel to tasmania even though they finished on top. if port win today, it would most likely be a port v box hill GF.
