Can't really be ****ed arguing it. Ablett kicked a ton of goals blindly snapping from 50, doesn't mean it wasn't selfish and certainly wasn't the best option many, many times.

Don't think it's a fine line at all. Some superstars were selfish but got away with it because they were so damn good. I don't know if I ever saw Ablett senior pass within 55 of goal.

Yeah Dawes is a lead up spud. Can't mark at all above his head which is essentially Boyd's entire game at this early stage.

Swap midfields and the gap would be huge. Not to say that Boyd won't be great but Hogan is ready now.

Fantastic having a guy bowling defenders over and creating chances. I haven't seen much of Boyd yet but Hogan would be a positive even if he had Dawes' hands with the power he brings to contests. The Dogs have the talent around Boyd to really do damage if he's doing this kind of stuff:
