Before we begin the count, we must bid a fond farewell to a man who helped us reach the Grand Final. Yes, as sad as it is, it is time to say goodbye to Ted Lasso. See ya, mate, and don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out. Oh yeah, sadly Dingster is leaving us as well.




Dingster was born 21 years and 35 seasons ago in a now defunct canine junkyard. However, he was adopted at a young age and raised here in Vegas before becoming the Most Handsome Man in Sweet and a Las Vegas Bears Hall Of Famer. Dingster's wandering feet and sense of adventure took him on cruises to many unknown corners of the world including Pennsylvania. This, as well as the friends he recruited and made along the way, kept him fresh/reinvigorated throughout the years but he always eventually found his way home.

After a magical trip to the far East a couple of years ago, Dingster returned home to Vegas yet again, complete with a magical axe to grind with Jezmiester40 . He made an instant impact, with an All-SFA jumper in his first season back and being part of a strong Grand Final team in his second season back. This season Dingster played his 500th ever game and helped us not only make a final from 9th, but win a final against the odds.

True heroes are known for running towards their problems and not away from them. On Mad Monday after a few too many 'not teas' because Winter Was Coming, Dingster admitted that he loves it here but also that has caught the travel bug again. As a S22 premiership cocaptain who was also part of both the inaugural S5 and the returning S17 Bears teams, he has the keys to return home anytime as home is where the heart is. Therefore, this is not a true goodbye but instead good luck. Thank you for everything Dingster. Enjoy your adventures on your long-awaited horse, and see you soon.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to present our first award for the evening, the Best Rookie award. When Chipmunk arrived, we were informed he had previously played for a club called the East Side Phoenix. However, after scouring the league history books, we couldn’t find any record of a team called the Phoenix. So, as far as we're concerned, young Chipmunk is a rookie.

Despite his "mysterious" past, Chipmunk has made an incredible impact this season, showing skill and determination that belies his rookie status. Let's give a big round of applause to our Best Rookie, Chipmunk!

The leaderboard after 4 Rounds shows that Millky95 has shot out to the lead as he looks to go back to back. The last person to go back to back was JoshWoodenSpoon back in S24/25.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to present the Leading Goalkicker award. This season, the honour goes to Cap, who has kicked an impressive 70 goals, winning this award for the 5th time! Cap is now second on the all-time list for goals kicked at the Las Vegas Bears with 282 goals to his name.

Now, if you've seen Cap's avatar, you'll know it's Bear from Bear in the Big Blue House. And just like Bear, Cap has been a friendly giant on the field, but with a knack for finding the goals instead of honey pots. His ability to park himself in the forward line and consistently score has been nothing short of magical.

Cap’s opponents might have tried to stop him, but much like Bear, he just danced around them, kicking goal after goal. Maybe it's his friendly demeanor that lulls them into a false sense of security and before they know it, Cap has snagged another six pointer!

Let's give a big round of applause to our Leading Goalkicker, Cap! Congratulations, Cap.
