He's a creative vortex. Opposition teams lick their lips any time LMac gets the ball.

The situation is actively making me legitimately angry.

If he plays again next week then we are taking the piss.

Young (and a few not-so-young) players like Pink, Phillips, Lazzaro, Drury, Greenwood and Stephenson yo-yo in and out of the AFL squad supposedly based on 'form', yet this ******* guy who calls himself our Captain plays worse than every single one of them and is apparently undroppable.

I'm sick of it.

Stay on his feet and stop cannoning into blokes backs would be a good start.

I don't really see a replacement. Bergman likely not fit enough with a couple VFL games and Dawson is injured.
At least one of Corr or LMac has to be back there for now, it can't be left up to Comben to lead back there.

Last chance this week. I can't hate on him because he is a shinboner through & through but he's not helping our cause and must be dropped if he plays poorly again.

Nice sentiment, but in my view, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Or in layman's terms, in his mind Luke is fully committed to making a difference, but unfortunately, he's no f***ing good at playing football.

There will be a response all right - LMac will do double the amount of finger pointing, double the high fives to our other defenders after he concedes another goal, he will grimace really hard as he seeks out a tackler to force a ball up after he was 5 metres in the clear and then he will pat everyone on the butt twice this week after we trudge off the ground getting beaten by 8 goals. But the key to his response will be that he will then do a really long media interview saying we need to improve and the leaders will work really hard on that this week.

Did much better this week kept Philipou quiet and had stints on owens who did nothing either
