Arsenal get a dream draw again..... Something they've had for years in the FA Cup
Is the LC scripted? **** me
Yep, considering they will keep drawing minnows while the FA keeps popping PL opponents against one another....... Except ArseGood chance for someone like Newcastle to go to the semis.
Coming from the team who just played a League One team at home? You spuds like to pick and choose when to complain about the draw don't youArsenal get a dream draw again..... Something they've had for years in the FA Cup

And how many home FA Cup games did you lot get over the last couple of seasons? Face it, you guys have been blessed, though it is the Emirates FA Cup these daysComing from the team who just played a League One team at home? You spuds like to pick and choose when to complain about the draw don't you
And how many home FA Cup games did you lot get over the last couple of seasons? Face it, you guys have been blessed, though it is the Emirates FA Cup these days
In a week where the FA decides to script the LC and every other PL team left in the cup gets PL opposition except you lot.......... Coincidence?
They played all their FA Cup games at home dude except when they beat Man Utd IIRC and some minnow. To be fair they did get you guys in the cup a few seasons ago at home. Can't remember the result.
They were all over you for a lot of the game, and without their best player.Didn't know losing 2-1 was considered an "embarrassment" especially to the best side in the PL.
We don't decide the draw. We're told who to play and where. Like every other team. They played all their FA Cup games at home dude except when they beat Man Utd IIRC and some minnow.
Something like 10 out of 12 or 12 out of 14 or something were at home excluding Wembley ties
Clear favouritism though towards your mobThey were all over you for a lot of the game, and without their best player.

For a second time, we don't have pl opposition either. And how many home FA Cup games did you lot get over the last couple of seasons? Face it, you guys have been blessed, though it is the Emirates FA Cup these days

Emirates doesn't sponsor the league cup though.Clear favouritism though towards your mob
It's a view that I will not back away from also, with the Emirates deals flying around etc
This discussion has been had before so I can't be bothered doing it again. Sure on the way to winning 2 b2b FA cups we had more home ties than away but faced plenty of PL opposition (including tottenham, liverpool, everton and man united). And how many home FA Cup games did you lot get over the last couple of seasons? They don't, but it wouldn't surprise me if some handshake agreement has gone on somewhere.Emirates doesn't sponsor the league cup though.
But yeah we have the raw side of the deal, I don't know how many away league cup games this is for us but it's 2 of the last 9 at home, not sure seasons before that.

Hilarious how the Toon never wanted to have cup runs when they were in the PL though, get relegated now they are
And that's just west ham v west hamWhat's the over / under on the amount of arrests / punchups / fans getting chucked out?
Fair enoughTo be fair, that was the mandate under the previous direction of the club hierarchy. I think Rafa negotiated quite a lot of things in order to stay on. The club has done a lot of work to try and reconnect with the NE region and disillusioned supporters. The club's social media presence has gone up quite significantly, there were junior grassroots football tournaments in the preseason for local school kids and they've recently installed a statue of Shearer at the St James' Park (likeness is open for debate).
To be clear though, promotion is still definitely the key for us. The cups are just a bonus - we haven't played our best XI in any fixture yet. Lots of rotation under Rafa.
If you want to look at the business side of things, I think Sports Direct has taken a belting in the UK press in the last 12-18 months and I've read their share prices have fallen pretty noticeably. Cashley seems to be on a bit of a PR charm offensive doing breakfast shows and the like. Maybe keeping his football club out of the press might be part of that!
Haven't had internet last 8 days mate, moved house and waiting for my stupid NBN modem to come in the mail, just using up mobile data on phone for BF/Twitter for now as it doesn't suck it dry. What'd you think of Mason's goal go you pups?
Nice Strawman you've got there. But whatever, go on believing its a conspiracy to support your fantasy that the only reason Spurs haven't won a major trophy in 25+ years is unlucky draws.
Wasn't/isn't a CM's arseh*le.It's a cracker. He'll be good at hull in a more advanced position than he had with us. Worth every penny? SM
Fair enough
I just hope you guys dont turn into another Sheffield United where they prioritise doing well in cup competitions, yet never got themselves promoted those years even though they were clearly good enough.
For Tottenham that isWasn't/isn't a CM's arseh*le.
