Was impressed by his running power. Would be contesting the ball in D50 and you’d see him in the F50 in the same play.

Going to be some player.

Still like him playing half forward / wing . His ability to mark and the bit of x factor on the outside outweighs anything he can be doing through the midfield IMO.

I dunno….his ability to absorb physical heat and dish off was pretty special for a first year player. A little
more power and might even start moving through those contests and really punishing teams.

Can’t wait to watch him this year and see where he’s at.

At the expense of him taking marks around the ground and being a real goal kicking threat. He does not need to be playing inside midfielder to have an effect on stoppages around the ground. We have players who can win a center clearance. If he plays wing / high forward he has the freedom to keep his outside / link role yet still be involved at stoppages. If he just played half forward I suspect it would not be too many seasons until he is kicking 40 plus goals.

Are you thinking in a similar vein to Ryan O'Keefe?

he doesn't get as much of the ball as i'd like, but when he does... that will be tasty

seems to always make the right play, make the right decisions. so composed.

Is Archie our x factor player this coming season? This, plus more, answered on this week's Bombercast Episode
