Playing genuine centre half forward at the moment. Need to work out a way to get more out of him or need 3 of him, one to hit up to the wings, one to mark the next kick and one to kick it to 30 out and let him beat his man.

I hope Arch actually wants to stay.
If dodoro and the recruiting team f**k this up because they’re trying to force longer contracts down their throats (Perkins cox Reid). I don’t think many in the people in the club will survive that, membership will nosedive. Don’t know what’s wrong with 2 year deals for all 3.

Has to stay at the club. Extending Archie, Hobbs, and Reid’s contracts should be the primary objective for the year.

Two years is fine by me as well.

Perkins is frustrating because instead of giving off the first option, he tries to wriggle out of tackles - He is struggling to fulfill his current role, so unless they give a different role, then he is better to play VFL.

He’s doing an incredible job for a second year player in that position. Has a direct opponent hanging off him all game, and gives us a honest contest every time. Love his work to date, would be a poor call to drop him in my opinion.

Can't agree
but one of the few shining lights when you consider he's a second game player.
Has found the ability to hit the scoreboard from nothing, really contests and he doesn't panic when being tackled.

I'd love him as our first choice mid, but I don't think that's his game.

Great work Dodoro!

If his grumpy (or at least serious) interview this week was anything to go by he is some chance to be the Allan Border to our current leadership group's Michael Clarke/Tim Paine hybrid

I can imagine him only ever smiling when we win the flag. And even then only for about 5 mins.

Great signing, love it.

Absolute nonsense.

He is one of very few that actually is fulfilling his current role. And also actually look like he cares.

Playing about the hardest position on the ground, he's still managing to kick goals, and he actually does something with it when he gets the footy, instead of handballing or kicking it backwards or sideways.

He also had more tackles than any of our midfielders (or any other players) against Sydney - which may say more about our s***y midfield, but still.

To finish, he's just turned 20. He's the absolute last thing we need to worry about.

Surely you're taking the piss? Kid is the only one showing any sort of toughness and composure.
