Not sure, theres only one football and he is significantly less good than lynch and riewoldt imo

potential A grade small forward dont grow on trees either, a lot for clubs looking for them. curnow is good but id be worried about giving aways riolis magic and pressure
agreed..Curnow has done FA...we dont need Carltons soft could be champions,Rioli can go the next level imo,his finals performances are elite...f*** carltom

I reckon he would have to be one of the most protected on these boards and close to the most overrated. Does sweet **** all in nearly all his matches other than chasing.

Is anyone else thinking it's time for him to start delivering beyond his good game every six weeks or occasional crumbing goal?

Whoever gets dropped it's going to be a bit stiff

I'd be happy for the whole team to stay in this week just because it was a once in a lifetime situation and benefit of the doubt, but thinking of where he's at, his career just seems to be wallowing, he's invisible too often and I reckon in 2020 he needs to step up and start contributing more than his current output.

He’s a gloried role player.

If his name was Daniel Smith he would be one of our whipping boys.

It'd be nice if he did more but it's hard to complain too much when they don't lose for 14 games

Personally Id like to squeeze balta but it's hard to see how it fits

Have to agree that his name carries weight which off sets his consistency of performance to some extent.

He’s easily in our best 22 however a career as a glorified role player doesn’t do justice to his skill set. He needs to stand up and take games by the balls in crucial moments a lot more often.

20 pressure acts 2nd highest for any tigers and equal 3rd highest for the game

If you have read any of konrads books it will explain why he’s in the side and how important he is to how we play

Just because we don’t see the highlights every game and see him on the tv coverage does not mean he’s putting in very important work

Our whole 2017 game plan was based around him

When you play that pressure game you only occasionally have a breakout game, Prelim's for example. It just doesn't allow for ball accumulation, a bit like Graham. He is so frustrating because he has those great games pretty rarely and we are all waiting for him to get to that level where he does it regularly. But one day that balance has to click or else someone will come along like Bolton has, or Dow might who can do both.

It is a good point
Bolton for Eg was one of the other players with 20 pressure acts for the game and the only one with more was Prestia

and Bolton was able to combine the two part of the game to be our most influential and player on the night imo

I don’t think we can drop him but I would definitely like to see more of those prelim type games from Rioli

That's my understanding of how you go about building a competitive list...

As a small forward at some stage he has to start kicking goals. You can’t get away with chasing back side you’re entire career. Another frustrating point about Daniel is the fact yes he chases but his tackles are always broken and can’t stick them.
Been cruising for far to long and needs to lift big time.

How many he kick r1 , don’t think he’s overrated just not sure who you think your comparing him too ,,,, he’s a small forward , they’re. Hot and cold that’s par for the course with these roles . Who you comparing him to that plays well every week and is in brownlow contention
Sound ridiculous it’s because it is
