That's brilliant! Did you see the place kick at 4.03? Too bad if you were sitting behind a lady with a hat.
Also, Carlton seem to be using both their home and clash jumpers in the one match. What with the wayward sashes and all, you get the impression no one worried too much about correct apparel in those days.
Only problem was the result - not an omen I hope.

Few observations

• Decent sized crowd in. Is this the MCG? Everyone looking classy in their hats and moustaches.
• Lol at the disparity of uniforms. I know it was 103 years ago but those carlton guernseys with the white tops look like a different team.
• Anyone notice the wierd running style a few players had coming onto the ground where they had their arms straight down, hands pointing behind their back. Looks like if someone tried to do a deliberately effeminate/unco run these days. Wonder if they were taking the piss.
• This bloke:
  
  Wouldn't look out of place lining up at full forward in 2012
• Skills overall are pretty good except kicking. Lot of guys seem to throw it on the boot the second they get it.
• Place kicks are very strange. Can't imagine a game with them.
• A lot of players do the weird throw it in the air then punch it handball. Wonder if it was legal back then? Reminds me of how some kids used to handball in primary school.

Would like to know this guys name if anybody knows.

Seems to be a few times throughout the video where a player throws the ball and then punches it instead of what is considered a normal/legal handball today.
