It was noticeable at the ground yesterday how slow the Aussies were between overs, and it wasn't even that hot yesterday.
As someone paying money to be there I was pretty annoyed. Think they ended 8 overs short on the day.

Problem I have is as a consumer you pay for 90 overs not 82. In Shield they get through 100 in a day. Should be no reason they shouldn’t get through the overs though. Bigger penalties are the answer though

If by rub of the green means they bowl at the stumps and not bowling this rubbish “hard length” sure. More you bowl at the pegs the more wickets you can get

Mate - most of the last 20-30 runs have come from edges and near misses on the stumps. They are riding luck. On another day they would be more wickets down.
I don’t really hold it against the bowling attack at all. We’re losing because our batting lineup is toothless.
Way to many drinks breaks, glove changes, site screen changes, field setting chats, centre wicket chats, video reviews of boundaries if it was 4 or 6.
All this stuff eats time. Some of these was it a 4 or 6 take a minute to confirm. That’s not the fielding sides problem.
Lots of things can be done to fix it.
Fines don’t work. Run penalties will definitely work. But all that other crap needs to be sorted as well.
Kudos to the Indians for racking up a score but also valuing their wickets. Unlike the series agains NZ they are not playing rash aggressive shots but accumulating time and runs progressively. They’ve batted superbly

Test match cricket is different to Shield cricket though, there is a lot more riding on test matches with field and bowling changes.
I would rather see 82 quality test match overs than see test players rushing through to bowl 90/100 overs with Marnus bowling.
