2008 Predictions
Ladder
1 – Hawthorn – Getting about ripe, KPP need to stand up
2 – Geelong – Could win the flag again, don’t think they will be as dominant
3 – Port Adelaide – I expect more improvement from the young well coached team
4 – Essendon – We will surprise a few, Knights is the greatest thing that could have happened to us
5 – West Coast – Still a good side
6 – St Kilda – Hopefully they have a good run with injury
7 – Carlton – They will be exciting
8 – Collingwood - Losing Bucks and Clement will hurt but the nucleus is still there
9 – Brisbane – Might even finish higher, they will challenge soon
10 – Fremantle - Query over their midfield. Harvey will be good for them.
12 – Melbourne – Will improve but not solid enough across the ground
13 – Sydney – Don’t think they have the stock to compete with other teams now
14 – Adelaide – Well disciplined so they could finish anywhere, but I think their window has closed
15 – Kangaroos – Will probably surprise everyone again, just don’t see them backing up last years effort
16 – Richmond – A lot of good players, but a few years away
Brownlow Top 10
Winner: Luke Hodge
2 – Daniel Kerr
3 – Brent Stanton
4 – Shaun Burgoyne
5 – Chris Judd
6 – Simon Black
7 – Matthew Pavlich
8 – Gary Ablett JR
9 – Scott Pendlebury
10 – Brett Deledio
