Any Thoughts guys? cheers

I like option 3

Not only you going to make over 100k on the Hartlett trade but you are then getting Muston who is going to make a nice profit as well and you also upgrading Suban and his 49ppg avg to a premium defender who will add another 30-50ppg.

Plus you will still have a healthy 9 trades left.

i'v gotta ask... how have you managed that?

Picked my team nine minutes before lockout.

Got Quinn in after he had played one game. Got Cheney when he was looking alright. Had Petrenko since the start and haven't traded him because it's not worth it. Had Taylor because he showed pretty good pre season form and he hasn't been a bad pick up, someone I look to upgrade later on.

And to the other bloke who said my team is ****ed, yeah my backline is stuffed but I scored 2153 last week so it's not all bad. My midfield and forwards are set.

im sick on nathan brown :( shouldn't have got him i know!

was going to get in kornes and cross but may need to off put them to trade cornes to mackie.

was looking to go to get bartel next week aswell.

Looks like you need to chop Cornes JDC!

Duffield is breaking out in a big way. Will become a 400k+ premium back shortly.

24yo medium. Doing even better in SC.

Yeah but would I be better off getting rid of Cheney or Harry Taylor instead? Cornes seems like he'd be a great player to have at the end of the season.

Cheers man good advice thanks:thumbsu:

Krak will get the kick this week.

I've narrowed down my choices to
1) Deledio
2) Gia
3) Petrie

I'm very surprised about how Petrie still goes unnoticed. He hasn't missed a game for a long time now and is 89 this year. With his 2 lowest scores 78 and 75. He is super consistent, but that also means only 1 x 100 this year, which happened to be last week.

He's priced at $351, 600, so is roughly the same price as Gia.

Anyone else considering the Petrie Dish?

going to be
Robo to Muston (robo not playing so getting rid of him and dont see him coming back in anytime soon)
Ziebell to N. Roo

haha mate i'm not having a go at you, sorry it appeared that way.

i did say that hopefully the rest of your team is set, b/c it is a pretty woeful backline. you may've scored well last week but with not many trades left and that many rookies down back, you're going to struggle as the season goes on.

hopefully you can put out 22 each week but i reckon you'll be struggling

Yeah I am just going for the league win and to be honest I am probably in the best position in my league. Most of the boys have only just started DT this year so we are all pretty ordinary. One bloke only has two trades left.

Should be right, thinking about copping three zeros this week and getting Hodge or Ellis next week when they are at their lowest prices.

My current team is (after trading joseph for muston):

B: goddard, lockyer, adcock, drummond, hargrave, grimes, broughton (suban, cornes)
C: selwood, corey, kornes, s.tuck, hasleby, rich (muston, anthony)
R: cox, mcintosh (jacobs, browne)
F: chapman, deledio, pavlich, giansiracusa, franklin, higgins, ziebell (warren, dowler)

What do people think of these two plans given i have 179.8k and 10 trades left?

A.
This week: Ziebell for S.Johnson (left with $10.8k)
Next week: Rich for Bartel, Dowler for Ballantyne (left with pretty much $0k + risk of not being able to afford)
Week after: Cornes for Fisher (cost about the same)

B.
Same as A except Riewoldt for johnson (leaves me with slightly more $ room to play with)

C.
This week: Ziebell for Ballantyne (leaves me with 366.5k)
Next week: Dowler for S.Johnson, Cornes for Fisher (leaves me with 153k)
Week after: Rich for Bartel (leaves me with 20k)

Option C nets me a few more $ on current projections, but I miss out on a week of s.johnson/riewoldt and get fisher instead of bartel for the second week... and I'd be picking ballantyne before hes played a game. B carries the least risk and gets a premium into ziebells spot now...A would be the best option if there wasnt a big risk that I couldn't afford bartel next week...what do you guys think?

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and hold onto my trades for this week. With only 10 left they're becoming pretty precious. My forward line is my target area to do upgrades though, and my backline is a bit shakey too, my midfield and ruck are, I'd say, pretty much set now though.

Have only done the obvious trade this week:

Otten > Muston

Really happy with this, i have milked everything out of Otten, which leaves $$$ for Rich to Bartel next week.

I am also hanging on to Cornes, with Hodge back i am atleast going to hang on to him for a couple of weeks, im looking at Carrazzo though, should come down around $350 in a week or two and would be a good unique pick for the second half of the year.

Either this or ride it out and hope that Hodge and Broughton keep playing until Chad's back...

I would go C) For the reason that while you may loose 30 - 40 points this week with not having Roo / SJ you will have more $ in the bank come 3 weeks time, with trades and $ tight could be the difference in 6-7 weeks time.

I took the risk last week and got Ballantyne in, i knew he wasnt far away and i think he will do well. :thumbsu:

Definately put Muston on the field over Tuck - though then again I don't know what Tuck averages...

Shane Tuck?

Are you mad? There is a CHANCE Muston may score more, but I doubt it... No way I'd be starting Muston over Shane Tuck.
