Shane Tuck?

Are you mad? There is a CHANCE Muston may score more, but I doubt it... No way I'd be starting Muston over Shane Tuck.

i think he may have mistake shane tuck for travis.

edit: banana_bus beat me to it, got a bit distracted whilst making the post.

I really can't make my mind up can someone split one of these for Cornes?

Enright v Adcock v Mackie

Current Backline - Goddard, Lockyer, Fisher, Bowden, Cornes, suban

Suggestions?

Beams and Robinson are my midfield emergencies and like most, I will be picking up Muston this week. So my options are either:

1. Beams -> Muston OR
2. Robinson -> Muston

Option 1. gets rid of a non-playing bench in my mids but generates $35K less cash than
Option 2. which generates $35K more cash but gets rid of a possibly-soon-to-return player on my bench with a low BE.

Which option is best? Cheers

Didak verse Gia. Doing my head in. Take the punt and go for Didak?
He has the scoring potential but is also more likely to miss games!

As for you Bones I'd go Mackie out of the lot :thumbsu:

Your prob right, wish I had just 1 week to see how Hodge goes.

3rd bluddy premium I have had to move on (not to mention a couple of keepers) really screws your plans.

I would give Didak a miss for now. Go for someone thats at least in form.

Bugger potential, I want certainty. Which rules Shaw out I guess. Fck you Chad.

Yep, my backline is complete, bar ****ing Chad. 10 trades left, but still a few upgrades.

What to do.

Have Suban to cover if Hodge doesn't play, but not keen on having Suban, Broughton and Grimes on the field really.

Probably biased, but if it was me I would move Robinson on.

you answered your own question so why is it doing your head in? If you have 10 or more trades go with Didak. If you have less than go with durability.

Yuk, 2 of them playing Geelong and the other, well its Melbourne...

Fatgut Brian Taylor reckons Hodge wont start.

Stuff it, went Mundy, leaves me 116k to upgrade Collins or Nahas in 3 or 4 weeks without trying to find cash.

Backs are now:

Goddard/Fisher/Lockyer/Scotland/Enright/Mundy/Hill

I would be going Gia. didak is coming back from injury and if he stuffs up off field he is gone for along time plus didak has only really had 1 or 2 good seasons DT wise.

Question for Collingwood supporters:
With Beams amongst the best in the VFL last week but still unable to squeeze a spot on the extended bench this week, will he play many more games this year? Tossing up whether to trade him out this week as he's run his race, or keep him and continue to rise, although I worry that he could be a fair way down the pecking order now with all their better players returning and competing for selection with guys like Steele.

Im having trouble with this stupid trade. IM thinking whether to do krakouer for either sj or gia. However taking into account that if i get gia, i save 100k and a trade for future upgrades. If i get sj i will have no cash left, and thus later i would have burn 2 trades to upgrade somebody else.

Any thoughts?

I think he will definately play more games this year. Sidebottom is probably likely to be out this week, with Medders and Cloke due back. Beams will be rewarded, one bad game from Wellingham, Leigh Brown, Cox, Toovey, even Dick to a certain extent and Beamsy should be given another opportunity.

I think weil see him within the next 3 games.

Who would you wanna upgrade and who to? I'd personally go with SJ :)

Hm... Now I have to think on whether to make a big gamble or not.

At the moment, I have 107k in the bank, I'm definitely trading Otten out for Kornes or S.Thompson and I can easily do it with 107k. Chad Cornes is the one I have to make a big descision on. I know when he comes back, he's going to be firing and bringing down the house and would definitely benefit me in the future... The problem is by backup though, I'm not sure if Rance and Suban can handle it. Suban's scores simply aren't good enough, it's rare seeing him get more than 50 and I'm not sure Rance will manage consecutive games for 4-6 weeks. Along with all of that, there is still a possibility Chad won't return in top form and still produce spud scored like he did before he got injured so I really have to consider whether or not I'll trade Chad for Ellis/Mundy.

Ok, firstly get Cornes over Thompson. Cornes has been a DT gun for a long time, durable as all buggery. I know clangers don't count for - points in DT, but just stick with the guns who get it, use it well and tackle. Vote 1: Kane Cornes

Secondly, there is no guarantee whatsoever that Chad will come back firing. He can't do ankle rehab properly after the knee op, so my advice to you is trade himl; but only when you NEED to. Remember, he isn't dropping in price while not playing, and while you have bench replacements, use them. Wait until a gun comes along at a great price for Chad, or you desperately need a win in your league. Take a look @ ur upcomining opponents and see who they have and decide if you need the win, or will win regardless, or can carry a low score/0 for a week or two. Trades are gold, and if you dont have Hodge, i'd get getting him in 2 weeks time or so. If you had no replacement for chad, was sitting 3-4 or something, id say trade him. if you're not, just ride it out for a while, trade only when you NEED to, but just becacause. Oh, and don't get Ellis. Never a gun DTer, handballs too much, and has barely had a pre-season. Do you relaly want another injured Hawk? Look to (pending you not having them) Enright, Fisher, Gilbert, Milburn, Hodge ....

Gia. Coming good, and get a heap in DT. 100k is a lot of money. Take into account what furhter upgrades you need to make. If you have ample trades and cows to cover upgrades, then go SJ. If you are low on cows/trades, go Gia :)
