2009 Trade Discussion- Part 7

Remove this Banner Ad

Ah **** it, I'm doing it this week, may as well.

Milne -> Ballantyne - not a biggy even if Ballantyne gets dropped/injured because Nahas should come back in soon to provide cover anyway.

Garlett/M. Brown -> Any forward (Deledio? Davis? Riewoldt? ROK? Gia?)

Who should I trade out, and who should I bring in?

Any help?

Thanks mate, I'm playing you this week, good to know what trades your doing :)

Ah what the hell, I traded Chad Cornes for Goddard and Whitecross for Muston.

Re: 2009 Trade Discussion - Part 7

I've got two trades planned for this week. I didn't want to make any, but I'm forced to because of injuries/lack of playing reserves. Anyway:

Trade 1

Chad Cornes > Paul Duffield OR Joel Bowden OR Jed Adcock OR Corey Enright OR Ryan Hargrave

First off, I don't trust Bowden's inconsistency, or that he might end up getting mothballed later in the year. His breakeven number is also quite high this week. I also don't trust that Hargrave will continue to score quite so highly.

Ideally I'd like Duffield, as he's playing regularly through the midfield and has played some great games so far this year. He also has a very achieveable break even number this week, so I won't be losing out right away. Then again, Adcock has done the same, except with an average that is 5 points lower. The only reason why I'm considering Adcock or Enright is that it frees up more cash for me to possibly complete a Nathan Krakouer > Steve Johnson trade next week, without having to do another trade to facilitate it cash-wise.

Trade 2

Mitch Robinson OR Dayne Beams OR Jaxson Barham > Beau Muston

I'd like to keep Robinson, as I see him as the most likely of the three to be selected to play again in the immediate future (none are injured), but he's also worth the most money, and the spare cash would come in handy for future trades.

Thoughts?

Get Enright, and trade out Barham for Muston

Who's 'mate'? I hope not me. ;)

Damon:

Trade 1 : get enright / adcock hard to split but enright can give u more consistant results

Trade 2 : Beams 2nd most value but barham will struggle to get another game

Going to bring in one of Rioli or Aaron Davey this week.

Rioli - BE 80, Oppenent Sydney(Last score 77) at MCG (Open ground)
Davey - BE 120, Oppenent Collingwood(Last score 113)

Which one? Rioli is against Crouch and the Swans.
Davey should get a tag this game... But will he be to good for it?

Dont know how you got milne but anyway yea sounds good

I would go with the volt due to his fantastic record at the backend of the season.

Fair enough, I'll take the punt. So Garlett or Brown to get the flick?

Gee Hartlett has left me in a predicament.

Had originally decided to pass on Muston, betting on the fact that Hartlett would average similarly to him.

Now i know its only an illness and most likely a one week exclusion, but to get Swan in, I need to either trade M Brown to Ballantyne (an upgrade which can be done in future weeks) or do Hartlett to Muston.

I am reluctantly leaning towards the latter, although I hate the thought of trading out Hartlett; the kid has a lot of Dream Team potential and has no way peaked yet. My saving grace however is that I had intentions in keeping Hartlett for the whole year and therefore his price is not a factor, but the trade of Muston leaves me with a potential whole-year player also.

Hmm.

with my side below would you upgrade chad or krakouer 1st?
and if chad would u play hill or broughten

I need an upgrade target from Zeibell... I have 396k and am having trouble splitting them...

Brown,
Gian
ROK
Cyril
Davey
ect.

Help!

Ok, Milne -> Ballantyne
M. Brown -> Riewoldt

done.

NOW, no more trades until Round 15 for me. :p

Forward line (N. Riewoldt, Rioli, Fevola, Pavlich, S. Johnson, Franklin, Nahas/Ballantyne/Garlett) looking very solid, except perhaps Franklin, but hoping he'll pick up. Midfield (Ablett, Corey, Swan, Rich/Hill, Muston, R. Shaw) also solid. Now just to upgrade Defenders.

Help!

I'd narrow it down to Giansiracusa or O'Keefe at this point.

Both are in really good form, but O'Keefe is probably in the better touch of the two, as he's averaged 109 in his last 4 games, as opposed to Gia's 99 from the last 4.

Therefore, probably Ryan O'Keefe is the choice to make.

Thanks to those who've responded to my question as well. I'm strongly thinking:

Chad Cornes > Corey Enright
Jaxson Barham > Beau Muston

I'm finalise it within the next 1/2 an hour or so.

Help!

I just went Cyril.

Have Higgins, Cross and Cooney so don't want Gia..
Missed the boat on ROK
Davey has a high BE
Don't want to go for a KPP in Brown

I'll pick from Didak and Davey next week.

Plus now I get to jizz my pants along with all the Hawks when Cyril does something delicious

Sorry, I missed that krak was out. You may find that Broughton may be playing anyway as I think Hill is still under some sort of injury cloud. So to be sure to avoid a donut maybe Chad is for the chop?

On the other hand, no Krakouer, Ziebell with gastro apparently, and Sidebottom not confirmed until tomorrow afternoon.

Your going to have to consider at which end of the park you get most bang for your buck.
