Sidey's gotta go then. I'd forgotten that he only gets named on the bench but i was thinking that Pies youngsters usually get dropped after a while so he was my favourite to get the axe on that score.

hey guys im pretty screwed i feel in my dt. got a pretty hard match up in eliminator this week and need to get a edge on him

i have a few ideas in mind, but with the lack of trades, im not sure if do any

what do you guys think

#1 Put Broughton on the field instead of Grimes

#2 Trade Hartlett to rookie (Anthony maybe) and then Rich to Premium (Corey maybe)

or Trade Sidebottom to Ballantyne (if he's named) and then Ziebell to Didak

but i'm sure you've thought of these moves already. I probably lean towards the Ziebell upgrade because you're likely to have to do that anyway at some point soon whereas you already have a great midfield.

Oh and you can of course trade out Hartlett and Ziebell for rookie and Didak.

TBH id hold onto geary for now mate. His averaged 60ish in the last month so not great not shocking. And ellis and hodge are yet to prove themself. If one of them start to show some upside then make the trade imo depending on how many trades you have left obviously as well

Thinking Sidebottom to Ballantyne and Houlihan to Ellis.

I want Houlihan out now, and Ellis is about to explode in price as Houlihan will sink.

Leaves me with Grima on the bench, and further bench depth in the fowards.

I'm not sure on Ellis I was planning getting him but he just doesn't appeal to me as much as a proven gun like Lockyer/Enright...

Got Lockyer/Enright already.

My backline stands at Lockyer, Enright, Mackie, Birchall, Adcock, Goddard and Houlihan.

Have considered Gilbert and Hodge in depth, but I think Ellis is the best on offer, and with him being given time in the midfield, now is the week to pounce.

Hodge would be the best option.

Unless he gets an injury, watch out for a big score this weekend.

I'm not in the eliminator anymore but I'm thinking about going Brown -> Ballantyne and upgrading Dale Thomas to either Riewoldt, SJ, Chapman, ROK or even Didak maybe (He'll start copping hard tags soon though). I only have 7 trades left but I think it's worth it if I can get some premiums like that. Another option to consider would be Rich -> Hayes/Corey/S.Thompson or if I want to fix my terrible backline I could trade in Harding or Grimes to get Duffield in.

This is what my team looks like atm. I could even do something with Chornes (I would have traded him out if I had known he'd be out for 6 weeks):

well I have a bit of a problem I want to get Kane Cornes, I have Rich, hartlett, and coughlan to choose from downgrading/upgrading, anyone know what's going on with coughlan, and hartlett, don't know who to trade
