I already have the injured Hodge and Broughton on my bench, with Hill on field looking to give me a zero this week due to his corkie. If i keep Cornes i'll be copping a zero this week, and maybe the next if Hodge doesn't pull up.

Broughton isn't injured is he?

Pop quiz

Which defender?

ENRIGHT, Corey
$354,800

ADCOCK, Jed
$351,800

BIRCHALL, Grant
$350,000

MACKIE, Andrew
$342,200

FISHER, Sam
$336,900

ELLIS, Xavier
$307,800
Fisher or Mackie IMHO

Cornes > Secret
Beams > Muston

Muston on the bench as EMG, will probably play for Corey though.

Will not be trading for the next few weeks. Very low on trades. Must conserve! :p

Broughton isn't injured is he?

Nah, he isn't. Just had a bit of a niggle last week. But even if i take him off the bench to play in place of Hill, i will have no cover for Cornes given Hodge won't be ready this week. Either way i'll be copping a zero. :(

Also, forgot all about Birchall. Makes my decision even harder! So now it's out of Birchall, Adcock, Enright, Ellis as the possible replacements for Cornes.

I am not so concerned about Houlihan's job security - more the change in role he seemed to be given on Friday night.

He was taking the run off defender and trying to make them accountable. He scored "ok" because he got a couple of goals. However it looks like the new role (albeit in one game) is to play a defensive forward role.

I could be wrong - was hoping he'd be a keeper for me - we'll see how the next fortnight pans out for him

Very true. I think he will avg around 80 from here in, problem is that I already have Geary and Grimes (who both should avg between 80-90) who I intend on keeping. So I really need Houlihan to step up his scoring a little. I am 90% sure that I will keep Cornes and trade Houlihan -> Lockyer this week.

I'm in the same boat. Thinking Option 2 at the moment (unsure whether to go Lockyer or Fisher). I also don't have the luxury of a playing Sub - got Raines and Petrenko on the bench, so I guess that simplifies it for me.
I think Houlihan could be a decent keeper if he holds his spot - he hasn't been playing particularly badly, and I reckon he could average 80.

I already have Fisher so I will be going to Lockyer but if I were you (had the choice between the two) I would probably choose Lockyer. Fisher is still playing more of a defensive role so I think Lockyer will score just a bit higher.

I'm ranked 1010th with 11 trades and $130k left.

Current team is:

Goddard, Lockyer, Cornes, Mackie, Drummond, Malceski, Grimes (Cheney, Petrenko)

Sewell, Mitchell, Hayes, Bartel, Selwood, Collins (Beams, Cockie (doh!)

McIntosh, Kreuzer (no bench)

Buddy, Gia, SJ, O'Keefe, Deledio, Krakouer, Sidebottom (Walker, Thorp)

My main concern is Cornes, but I also want to offload Krakouer or Malceski, as well as downgrade Beams to Muston along with 100,000 others this week.

It's unlikely Cheney will get picked this week so I'll cop a zero if I don't trade Cornes. So I'm likely to use one trade for Cornes to Mundy which will free up an extra $40k.

For my 2nd trade this week would I be better off doing the Beams to Muston trade to make an extra $93k, or forgetting that and hoping Beams gets picked, and upgrading Krakouer to Brad Johnson or Goodwin, leaving me some cash left over to get rid of the dud Malceski.

Or do you think Krakouer has dropped too far and isn't worth trading, and I should do the Beams to Muston trade so will have enough cash to upgrade Collins to Swan/Gibbs/Ablett in 2/3 weeks?

My question is- im trading out chornes... taking into account price, job security and performance who is the best buy out of the following?

Lockyer
Mundy
Enright
Ellis

also im the same position. although ive got lockyer. im looking at mackie and enright. i think i will got enright though.playing across the half back line and midfield with no attention on him should be good for a 90ish average for the year. also super consistent which is great and hardly ever misses a game. quite capable of 100s as well which is a great for a backline option. although mackie is tempting also. il come to a decision in the next 24 hours i guess.

i think ellis could be a really good unique pick. the other three are all good choice as well. dont think you can go wrong.

Oh good, Rance is getting a game! Now the chances of me keeping Cornes have increased from 10% to 20%!!... I still find it hard to come to the descision of playing a rookie like Rance for 4-6 weeks but I have to be as logiacal as possible, I only have 8 trades left, I'm definitely using 1 this week (Otten -> Kornes/S.Thompson/Cross or if I want to take a nice risk, J.Lewis)

Hey guys Im getting Muston this week but cant decide out of Beams and Robinson which one to drop. Neither have been named this week, and although I rate Robinson slightly higher, he is worth 30k more if I trade him... thoughts?

Already done Beams to Muston but wondering whether i should do Sheldon to Salopek this week or whether to wait another week to get around 10 extra k, Is it worth it???

I want to downgrade either of TTuck or Robinson to Muston, but cannot decide where to upgrade.

I won't be copping any zeros this week as long as there aren't any late withdrawals

I want to wait a couple of weeks for Ellis to drop in price then pick him up for any of Grimes, Broughton or Cheney. My decision is whether I upgrade whoever I don't trade out of Tuck and Robinson, or to upgrade Monfries. My feeling is that the forwards is more pressing, but at the prices I see no one really stands out. Pav has a B/E of 138 this round so I could wait a couple of weeks for him, or pick up one of Petrie, Gia or Goodwin.

In the mids I like the look of (players under 419k): Cross(Has bottomed out, very cheap), Kane(mr.consistent), Boyd(maybe too expensive), NDS(very cheap, averaging 101).

What are people's thoughts? Double Trade this week, or one this week one next?

People asking for opinions on the chad cornes trade i think newman is at a good price at 300k and ryder playn in the ruck now at 312 gives good value.
Plenty of options and what are peoples thoughts on what there gonna do for nathan krakour now weather to trade him ot gonna stick with him?

Ha has been on a downwind spiral for a few games now and obviously the one week break didnt help him too much. I think like the rest of us we wish we traded him out a few weeks ago when his price was rite up there. He mite be worth hanging onto for another week though and see if hes just gone to the sanfl for a week.
