WHIR (will help in return)
2 trades left w 94k. In prelim for two leagues - I have slightly better team in both. But it's close.
1. Grimes-> McNamara and Ballantyne-> Chapman (Steve Johnson on bench)
or
2. Steve Johnson -> Okeefe (Ballantyne as emergency. Saves me 1 trade and 30k for GF)
Is 1 trade + 30k + Ballantyne emergency better than 20pts better average chapman is over OKeefe? Brad Johnson, Aker or Mitch Clarke better than oKeefe?
Other forwards that I have are: Riewoldt, Didak, Deledio, Neon, Pav, Higgins, Steve J / Ballantyne Bench: Ruffles (out)
Ugggh...
Cross to either Ablett/Swan/Montagna...
and
Grimes to any back Gram/Hargrave/Duffield/etc
Really don't know what to do, whoever I bring in will be captain but I'm scared about Swan vs Sydney and I hate having Friday night captains..
Definitely option #2. SJ > ROK. The trade and cash will be gold next week. Chappy first game back is a risk, at any rate.
Cross > Swan.
OK guys, 2 trades, $46k. Playing a team that is better than mine IMO, so need to pull something out of the hat. Am an agonizing $1,000 short of SJ > Neon, and $6k short of SJ > ROK. Could blow the other trade to free up that cash, but dunno if that's wise.
The best options for $384k seem to be :
1) Higgins (ave: 90) (last 5- 64*, 119, 79, 105, 70)
2) Fevola (ave: 90) (last 5- 131, 142, 100, 34, 112)
Current FWD line:
Riewoldt, Deledio, Didak, Pavlich, Franklin, Goodwin, SJ.
Would you go Grimes ---> Scotland and SJ ---> ROK
Or Grimes ---> Mackie and SJ ---> Gian
Or just Grimes ---> Mackie and play Ballantyne.
2 trades left, thinking I might as well use them as I have plenty of cover.
Hey guys long time reader first time poster. Looking to trade Mitch Brown for either Neon/Buddy/Pav/Fev. Who would you go with?
Looking to finally trade out Adcock. I can afford any defender and the rest of my backline includes:
Goddard, Fisher, Mackie, Enright, Cornes, Broughton (Pearce and Grimes)
Who would be the best option to trade to? I was thinking Lockyer but he plays Sydney this week.
Why trade Adcock now he is most likely returning next week
My prelim games are must wins and Adcock is no certainity to return by next week. Brisbane may not want to rush him back too early.
Enright ? I like Embley but I don't know if he will last the 2 games haha
Ablett or Montagna?
I'd do SJ > ROK mate.
Chapman could easily re-injure himself this round and then you'd be screwed for the GF.
One trade left, GF week.
Was considering my options and was going to either trade an injured backman or upgrade Anthony, but with Anthony ripping it up I decided the back option was the way to go.
Depending on who is named I will trade one of Ellis, Grimes or Cheney to anyone except Embley (if I trade Cheney) because I have 142,000 in the bank.
So because I already have Goddard, Hodge and Fisher who should I get? Lockyer, Enright, Gram, Carazzo and Duffield are at the top of my list.
Yes I am finding it very difficult. This is the lottery i speak of. Sure you can make calculated guesses about how they will match up on their opponents but i consider it 90% luck as to who will be the best scorer. For me i'd weigh up who is least likely to score well out of the three you want to get rid of, then who is most likely to score the most (which is more difficult). Either way so long as the player you trade in scores more than the player traded out, it can be viewed as a win.
