Is there any chance I'll see Cameron Hitchcock ever again?

Neade will probably be rested soon, which means Hitchy could come back in for another crack. He's probably on his last chance at Port, but I'd imagine Hinkley will want to see a good 3-4 games from him before he decided his future at Alberton.

I jumped on the Robbie Gray-V-train before it left the station, but it appears to have been derailed. Is he carrying something? That would explain his low score v the dogs and why they gave him the vest v the giants. Do I stay aboard and hope the train takes off again or am I better off cutting my losses and moving on?

The Gravy train is rolling again. Alas, it was against my team. He always plays well against the swans. Glad I stuck fat.

What role does Jack Hombsch play and whats his job security? Is he over-performing supercoach wise or was it somewhat expected?

Thanks Port fans.

I'd say he's over performing supercoach wise. Plays more of a shutdown role than a rebounding role, just happens that he's been able to push up the ground a bit for his possessions in the last few. If his man stays deep for most of the game, I'd expect his scores to hover around the 70s. Probably not worth it at his price, although if you've only got that amount of money to spend, he's probably the best of the defenders in that range.

Do you guys reckon Hartlett could be an OK pickup in Dreamteam. Had him earlier in the year, but seemed like something was troubling him, and kept scoring 30s. Has been a bit more consistent recently, so do you reckon he'll be back averaging 90? Was there anything earlier in the year that was affecting him (a niggle or something?)

No niggles, just didn't work hard enough to break his tag. Now that our other mids are picking up a bit, its taken some attention away from him, and he has been working harder at getting the hard ball which has helped his form pick up a fair bit.
He's more of a supercoach than a DT prospect, having said that he's still probably in the top 5-8 defenders in the league for both fantasy, and after Hawthorn our run home isn't too bad.

Any chance of Colquhoun getting a callup anytime???

Dunno. Had some really solid SANFL form of late, BOG last round. Pittard has been looking a little flat, so could be swapped out for Colq, but it's anyone's guess as to how long he actually would stay in the team for anyway.

Thanks for that. I just want him to moo for me. Carried him all year!

What do you guys reckon the reason is for Cornes' recent drop in form in DT?

Not enough peptides. ;) But he hasn't dropped off that much, has he? He missed a game through suspension (for pushing Sam Mitchell in the back, lol, softest suspension ever) and has enjoyed scores of 119, 95, 93 and 80.... Eh, could just be a minor form slump but most likely his body's just wearing down a bit over the year. I'd still keep him in though, he IS our Mr Reliable this year.

Been tagging more of late, only did some small tag/run with roles in the early season but has needed to sacrifice some of his loose ball gets to nullify a man, particularly with Cassisi out who was our other main tagger. Moore is in good form at the moment and doing some OK-ish tagging jobs, so Cornes might be able to just play loose again in the coming weeks.

Hey Port fans, so you reckon Hamish Hartlett will retain his D/M DPP status next year?

I'd be surprised TBH. He's played mostly midfield this year. He's actually probably played more HFF than HBF this season, but not to the extent that he'd be given dual positioning.

Unfortunately I'm expecting the same thing to happen with your own Brandon Ellis. I would love to be able to pick him as a defender next year.

Yeah Ellis is likely to be a mid only. He's played predominantly off a wing all season so I reckon he's got no chance to be a defender next year.
