According to everyone except the selection panel, he is best 22.
Actually, I'm fairly sure the selection panel would regard him as being best 22. I suspect they're managing him carefully, noting that he's currently carrying an injury and they don't want to turn it into a long term problem for him.
Was my smokey starting pick for the year and one I moved out once he was dropped. He did my head in in the end, dropping the easiest of marks at times and missing shots at goal where you're just looking at all the potential points he's lost by not making the most of his DT opportunities.
Smokey pick for sure, could be something a little interesting for league matches I guess but he isn't worth the risk at this stage of the season for mine.

I'm strongly considering trading in Rory Atkins as he is a cheap DPP and who the emergency loophole could be used on. How likely is he to play in 2013?
The odds on Atkins playing this year would be very long indeed. We'd need to have about 15 players on the injury list before it would happen.
1-3 weeks I've read, basically means if you trade him out it will be a 1 week injury, if you hold him it will be 3 weeks.
Planning on holding him, Crouch and Mitchell will provide adequate cover in the meantime.

It seems as though your midfield is leaking alot of points lately except to the person of the van berlo tag. just wondering who you think van berlo will tag this wee. it appears near certain that he will go to selwood this week with johnson out but i noticed that he went to bartel last year. although with bartel down back i would have thought selwood would be the target. Thinking of getting really arrogant and tradingselwood out to barlow this week. thoughts??

Wouldn't surprise me if he was out 3 or 4 weeks, I dumped him. When he comes back I doubt he'll play any more forward than he has for the rest of this year

Maybe consider Stanton? Might get extra attention with Watson out, but is very cheap considering his average

I've considered him but I'd probably rather pay the extra $$$ for Jelwood. I don't trust Stants.
I did have enough spare cap space to trade him for Pendles.
I think he will be out till healed so 3 to 4 weeks.
Not sure forward is the best place to hide a shoulder injury.

Nice, Pendles is a must have.
If he's out for 3-4 I think you have to trade him unless you're really short on trades and have good cover.
