Teams 2013 Rate my Dream Team

Just changed my team considerably again. Structure is 3/1/2, 5/1/2, 1/1/0 and 3/2/1. Pretty happy at the moment.

Kennedy (WCE) is priced at 52 if you see him avg 75 id be picking him quick smart

There's plenty worse picks out there. You can't disregard his 10 goal game, he's a FF in a top 4 side and will probably have a few more 8s this year. Guys with 25-30 points upside still improving with good pre-seasons and locked in the 22 are rare. Probably one of he or Varcoe IMO

Maybe, I just don't pick KP forwards...unless they have shown that they can average 95+ in previous years. I realise there is always a first time, but it's not one position that I'd use a speculative pick on myself.

But yes rare, ticks alot of boxes. Best 21 no doubt, good preseason check, top team check, top team being attacking player check, undeprriced check, proven ability above 52 avg in which he is priced.

I have him at the top of the 4, Varcoe second. Whether i pick any im not sure just yet.

I haven't even looked at JJK seriously before this, but I see he is only $17,300 more expensive than Knights, who I currently have sitting in my fwd line. Given the quality of their respective sides, it is not a far cry to say they will average about the same but JJK's job security is much, much better. Probably equal on the injury and consistency fronts too.

Why can't the frenchman just be priced $100k less?

No, I just wouldn't trade in FF types who won't average more than 75...

Actually, the best DT pricing is when you need to make a decision on every player. Not a heap of locks this year outside of Leuy, one of Swan / Gaz, Gibbs and maybe Rocky / BJ. Plus the gun rookies. Would've been nice to see O'Meara, Crouch and Viney priced 50K higher to make a tougher choice on them. Unfortunately not how pricing works but all in all there's not a heap of mid-priced locks, just some tough decisions to make. Healthy position for DT.

JJK, you're not looking at his average, looking more at his standard deviation which is high. He could punch out a few 90 / 100s and get a spike before being moved on. Surprisingly doesn't kick a lot of goals but at a perfect age this year. Definitely not a keeper but can't see any in the 200s that are. I don't think Varcoe is as likely to get a spike but should score more consistently early

Very good team imo. Good solid structure and some good unique but still kind of safe selections. I don't really like the Watson pick. With a delayed start to his preseason i think he is too big a risk at that price. He may very well come out slow and drop significantly in price.

No Cox is also interesting. Not many teams would be leaving him out with NN possibly having a delayed start to the season.

Siposs has caused a fair bit of debate around here. Risky as most midpricers are but could very well work out. I would recommend keeping an eye on other mid price forwards like Kennedy, Byrnes, Knights and Varcoe and go for which ever shows you the most during the NAB cup.

Dont want Cloke in my team
Don't want Varcoe, doesnt get enough of the ball and doesnt mark/tackle enough.
Scooter will average more than Fyfe imo. I expect Scooter too average 105+

I am a bit worried with the 4 mid prices in Hartlett, Broughton, Siposs and Wright. Originaly had Cox and Byrnes over Siposs and Wright
