Let's be realistic as to who we can get.

Unfortunately anyone we can realistically get, is not going to be worth pick 2.

West Coast traded #17 for Wellingham last year. I'd be looking at the same for some of the guys floated up here - Sidebottom etc.

Swallow's been pretty underwhelming so far, playing off a HBF mainly and injured a fair bit. Would rather S Selwood or Adams tbh. I'd like us to go after Michie and Hallahan too.

Would also prefer Selwood or Adams, but not use pick 2 on them.

I would want something else with Swallow if we gave up pick 2. On his output to date he is not worth pick that high, and I feel like he has a low ceiling compared to some of the players we could draft with pick 2 this year.

While I'm here, what is the most you'd pay for a (contracted) Rosa if he wanted to come to the Dees? If its nothing then fair enough, but interested none the less. Is your third round pick (~37ish) too much (in this hypothetical situation)?

Or if you have any other Eagles questions I'm always keen to talk trading.

He has the age, games played, and height that we need in our midfield. Decent player without being a star, probably doesn't get due recognition for playing over in the West.

Cheers. I think it's 35 at the moment. With the potential for some FA compos to cancel out (Thomas and betts/Franklin) I think it will be around 38.

I think 38 is reasonable if he was dead against staying. He's still decent.

I've got no idea if any of them actually want to leave. I'd guess that we'd be the least unhappy with Gaff leaving.

Pick 2 and Watts (if he want's out) to GC for Swallow and their first round pick, try to Adams with our second round pick. That would be sweet for us (Swallow, Adams and use pick 5 in draft (Kelly might slide to there)

I'm a bit concerned about the injuries too. The boy must go through a fair few rolls of tape per game. If GC are interested in trading him I'd be worried he's potentially got some long term issues.
