Word is and Captain Jack can back me up here - that Scott Selwood is interested (presumably if Roos signs) and that WCE would give him up and steak knives (fringe player) up for pick #2.

We could do worse than a guy who averaged 25.5 disposals, 4.6 marks and 7.6 tackles this year.
We have been taking the 'gun' kids for years now and look where it has got us. If I have to choose between aish and selwood, its gonna be selwood purely and simply because we know what we are getting.

Agree 100%, if Selwood was available (hypothetically) he would be just about the best youngish midfielder we could get with pick #2. Have heard that Rockliff may not have been impressed with Voss, but obviously that ship has sailed now - would have been just as good if not better to land him.

Realistically, Selwood comes in as our best (sorry Jonesy) or 2nd best midfielder - his numbers are certainly better then Jones'.

He polled 15 Charlie votes last year too, is only 24 next season - would be a great get.

I hear Flint ..I mean, Clint Jones might be on the way out at St Kilda.

Not exactly the type we need - but he is a genuine senior player with a solid body and a good runner who is a mid.

Really knows how to light things up - would we have an interest with a very late pick?

I actually havnt heard any realistic options that I think match the value of picks 1, 2 or 3, so Im still leaning towards using our top picks on kids. Even if we surpass Boyd and take Aish/Sharenburg.

In fairness Roos has a proven record when it comes to training, so I would back his judgement
